RAW GM Eric Bischoff challenged the SmackDown roster to a five-on-five Classic Elimination Match at Survivor Series. SmackDown GM Theodore Long accepted -- and challenged Bischoff to a match at the pay-per-view. More matches will be added soon!

I loved those types of matches. It makes the PayPerView feel unique. I'm not looking forward to Bischoff and Long wrestling though. It looks like Benoit and Booker will be wrestling for sure. I'm assuming that there will be 3 matches from both Raw and Smackdown! along with the two matches that have been announced. It should be a great show.

This one is about more than just a win or a loss. This one is about pride. This one is about RAW and SmackDown trying to show its superiority over the other. These two sides have been invading each other’s turf for the past month, and it will finally come to a head when five RAW Superstars will meet five SmackDown Superstars in a battle of survival for all the bragging rights.
SmackDown was heading into this one with all of the momentum. The fans voted in Rey Mysterio and Matt Hardy to represent SmackDown at Taboo Tuesday against the team of Snitsky and “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters. While Mysterio and Hardy may have been overmatched in the size department, they utilized their quickness and high-flying ability to catch the RAW monsters off guard. The win was a major coup as SmackDown was able to make itself look like the superior brand on a RAW pay-per-view.
On the Nov. 7 edition of RAW, Eric Bischoff announced that Big Show, Kane & team captain Shawn Michaels were his first three team members, and Carlito defeated Shelton Benjamin later that night to claim the fourth spot on Team RAW. Then on Nov. 12, Bischoff decided that Chris Masters would round out his team of five.
SmackDown GM Theodore Long responded later that week and formed his team. He named World Heavyweight Champion Batista team captain and held qualifying matches to form the rest of the team. After winning their matches, Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Lashley and JBL will join Batista in representing SmackDown at Survivor Series.
Later that same evening on Friday Night SmackDown, RAW seized the day. Before Edge's scheduled Street Fight against Batista could begin, their attention was drawn to the action in the back. Bischoff had shown up and Long tried to get rid of him. With Long distracted, "The Masterpiece" blindsided the SmackDown GM and caught him in the Master Lock. They were chased away by JBL, Lashley, Mysterio and Matt Hardy, but this only left things wide open for the ambush to continue.
With the rest of SmackDown's Survivor Series team gone from the building, Kane and Big Show hit the ring to attack Batista. Some of the remaining Superstars in the locker room stormed the ring, but the monsters of mayhem disposed of them and then hit Batista with a thunderous double chokeslam. RAW had invaded SmackDown and left the World Heavyweight Champion laying in the middle of the ring.
SmackDown's team, led by captain Batista, will be on RAW this week, but what will they have in store for their Survivor Series opponents?

I wonder who the fifth member of Smackdown!'s team will be. Ken Kennedy, maybe?
I don't get to watch Raw so I can't say much about their other matches. Benoit vs. Booker seems to be an obvious choice on Smackdown! Hopefully it'll be given at least 15 minutes. It should be a great one. Orton vs. Hardy seems to have a good possibility as well. That should be a good match. Maybe they'll also have a tag team match as well.

Yeah, I wonder who will replace Eddie on that team?!

I'm assuming there will be more matches added on Sunday Night Heat. I think there's only 6 or 7 matches announced. Booker vs. Benoit should be given at least 15 minutes. I'm not sure what to expect from Melina vs. Trish and I'm not looking too much forward to Long vs. Bischoff, but the rest of the matches should be very good.
