WWE.com is reporting that former WWE Champion Eddie Guerrero was found dead in his hotel room in Minneapolis, MN. this morning.

He is survived by his wife and two daughters.

Throughout his stellar career, Eddie was involved in some of the greatest matches I've ever seen, including perhaps the greatest PPV match ever: Eddie and the later Art Barr vs. Octagon and El Hijo del Santo in a double Hair v. Masks match on the AAA "When Worlds Collide" show in 1994.

Thank you for the memories, Eddie. You will be missed.

R.I.P.

Paulie

That's a shame. They still seem uncertain as to what he died from. He was an incredible wrestler. I think his match vs. Rey Misterio Jr. at WCW Halloween Havoc 1997 was possibly the greatest cruiserweight match ever and easily one of the 50 best matches I've ever seen.

All this week, we will hear testimonials from his closest friends on RAW (tonight at 9pm) and SmackDown (this Friday at 8pm). The last time we had this emotional episode was back in 1999 when we lost Owen Hart! :(

Reading that article was very sad. I was assuming it was heart failure. Is Vicky the same one who appeared on Smackdown! maybe around August during the end of the Misterio-Guerrero feud?

After the TNA Pay-Per-View show went off the air, Rhyno, Christian and 3D (Dudley Boys) paid tribute to their friend.
