--NRJ radio just announced that Mariah will grace the NRJ Music Awards with her presence on January 21, 2006 at Midem, Cannes, France. As previously reported, Mariah is up for two NRJs namely, Best International Female Artist and Best International Album for "The Emancipation of Mimi." --Great job everyone! "Don't Forget About Us" was #1 for the 5th day in a row on BET's 106 & Park! And was #4 on TRL! Let's keep up the voting! Meanwhile, on AOL's Top 11 Videos (http://music.aol.com/), "Don't Forget About Us" debuts at #8!

--Mariah is featured in the crossword section of the December 5, 2005 issue of People magazine. Fans can test their knowledge by answering questions about Mariah and her albums.

--In the January 2006 issue of VIBE (http://www.vibe.com/news/online_exclusives/2005/11/ciara_i_wish/) magazine, various artists were asked what they wished happened in 2005. R&B singer Ciara was asked which songs released in 2005 did she wish she had written and produced. Ciara listed Mariah's "Shake It Off" and "We Belong Together" as two of her choices.

The caption reads, "This great night of awards took place in the world-known Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California. When Para Todos asked the biggest diva of the night, Mariah Carey, about her latest album, the beautiful Venezuelan responded, "It's hot tamale!"

--Mariah is mentioned in the movie "Just Friends," currently in theaters, as lead actor Ryan Reynolds' character yells her name out when he grabs the steering wheel of his friend's car causing it to swerve dangerously through traffic.

--After 10 years of tracking internet searches, Lycos has compiled a list of the "Top 50" most searched events and people on the web since September of 1995. Mariah lands at the #35 spot in a list that also includes: the death of Princess Diana, the Sept. 11 attacks on America, Pamela Anderson, JonBenet and John Kennedy Jr. ClickZ Network (http://www.clickz.com/stats/sectors/search_tools/article.php/3550261) reports.

--Entertainer RuPaul lists his "Tops" for this year on his website (http://www.rupaul.com/weblog.shtml). Not surprisingly, Mariah's "We Belong Together," is his most-listened-to song on his iPod, while "The Emancipation of Mimi" is his favorite album of the year!
