i need advice((o/t))

ok so over the summer i went to Europe for 20 days with an amazing group of people! I never thought we would all be friends still even tho the trip has been over since July 29th. And there was one person that I really like, this boy lol, Well i really want to ask him to my prom,, but i dont kno if thats a good idea, one reason cuz he has a g/f(which he plans on breaking up with right before he goes to college in August), theres another girl in the group that him and her got really close, i dont want things to get weird if he says no, and there is just so many things that could go wrong. But I really really like him! like alot, so i thought maybe i could ask him to go as friends, and be like it would only be as friends, but i just dont kno how to attempt it especially cuz its not like we talk all the time, like at our little get togethers the whole group has we talk, but not like we are like close friends, i dont want things to get weird! I just dont kno what to do!!! And plus prom isnt till like May, but they make you get the tix in January so i dunno do i ask him in January, and what if he forgets? I NEED ADVICE!! PLEASE! i just dont kno what to dooo!!! :noway: please someone help me! lol

I say ask him to go as just friends. The worst that could happen is he'd say no, and if he acts all weird about it then he's not much of a friend. As for asking him, just casually bring it up, start talking about the end of the school year, and say how you can't wait for prom. Ask him if he knows who he wants to go with, and just ask him. id ask him as a friend and see how it goes from there, remember you dont want to push things too fast or it never works out, TRUST ME IT HAPPENED TO ME!
