Eeek, sorry guys! I won't be here for a while, my home computer won't start up, so i needa re install windows. ughh. I'll be on tonight and if we dont get it fix, it might be a week or so until it is.

KIDS! DON'T INSTALL WINDOWS XP! That crap OS will slow down ven the newest computer and will -excuse the foul language up with your computer. Try setting up a PC/MAC hybrid, PC hardware and Mac OS...sweeet

did u try to reboot on "Mode without failure"
Then Make a "disk defragmentation"
and then reboot normally

XP is fine for normal operations. I too prefer a Mac OS, but I have little trouble with Windows. I just pop in a disc every few months and restore it to factory issue. It's only a problem with the viruses and I don't face that issue because I use protection. :susp:

ok yea guys this is old, my dad has xp, its slow, im on windows ME now (hateeee it) its so slow 4 the sims. I just got it working um i think a few days ago. Forgot 2 mention it ((sorry)) but yea its all fixed now and my comp wouldnt run AT ALL we had 2 wipe the C:/ drive and reinstall everything. We do it like twice a year (i download so much crap it kills it!) so yea im backkkk.

I'd forgotten you were a Sims freak. I wouldn't even be bold enough to attempt to play that on anything lower than XP.

yea im addicted, i cant stop. Thats why i havnt been here when it was working
and yea i play it on ME it chugs but my video card is excellent.
and the new sims 2 game coms out january/february
