Chapter 1:
Present Day:
Aaron sat in the back of his parents car listening to his headphones, unsure of where his
dad and step mom were about to take him. Aaron had a phobia, and that was be in a car.
Its sounds silly, but he really did, ever since the accident with him and Nick on his 18th
birthday....

Bob (His father) pulled into a parking lot and walked over to Aaron’s side of the door and
helped him out of the car when Aaron stared at the large building before his eyes. He
faintly smiled when his parents took him in the building without a word passing between
any of them.

“Where are we?” Aaron asked, his voice was ragged and cracked, his dad who just
smiled pushed open the door.

“This is for your own good son,” He said slowly.

“Hello Mr. Carter and family,” A woman at a desk said leading them to a small office
area. “Thank you for choosing our correctional facility, I just need you to sign these
papers and your nurse will be with you in a second.” A woman in her late thirties and
tight wrinkled skin said.

The words Correctional Facilty burned in Aaron’s heart and ears as he tensed with every
stroke of his fathers pen on the paper.

“I don’t understand,” Aaron said looking around seeing people in straight jackets and
handcuffed, it looked like a prison he thought. His hands went cold and antsy as a girl
about his age walked in.

“Hello, my name is Gabrielle and I’m your nurse,” Aaron rolled his eyes at her tapping
his foot agigtated on the floor.

Gabrielle was a very beautiful young woman with many smooth features, her eyes we’re
a crystal blue with a hint of silver and her smile was so innocent and beautiful.

“Hi, I’m Bob and this is my son Aaron and my wife Ginger,”

“Pleasure’s all mine,” She said nervously moving a piece of hair behind her ear.

“Alright, I’m sure you all are aware of everything from our pamphlet we sent in the mail,
any questions?” She said staring at Aaron, who looked very lost.

“Yes, how long does will he be staying here,” Ginger asked applying some reading
glasses.

“Um, that we cannot say, but as soon as we see some improvement we’ll let you know.”
Gabrielle said.

“Do I have to wear that?” Aaron said watching a man pass by with a straight jacket and
chains on his hands.

Gabrielle smiled softly and said gently. “Depends,”

“Why am I here?!” Aaron yelled.

“Alright well thank you Gabrielle and well be sure to say in touch!” Bob said shaking her
hand.

“Thank you,”

Bob and Ginger left holding hands and watched Aaron through the window through a
moment whispering things amoung themselves.

Gabrielle POV:
“Okay, I’m going to ask you just a few questions,” I said.

“Whatever, just I don’t wanna be here.” Aaron said truthfully.

I won’t fall in love with a patient! I won’t!!!

I couldn’t get his beautiful eyes out of my mind, nor his handsome dark features.

“Why do you think your parents put you in a correctional facilty?”

“Hell I don’t know,”

I bit down on my lip, this is going to be a lot of work!

“Okay have you had any tragedies in your life?”

“One but not enough to give me a straight jacket,”

“Tell me about it?”

He slowly looked into my eyes, when I felt my cheeks get warm.

“Your going to put me in a padded room, I just know it!” He yelled.

“No I won’t, as long as you tell me your story.”

He sighed deeply and closed his eyes letting tears fall.

“I’m only here to help you,”

Aaron wiped the tears away and breathed heavily.

“It was my eighteenth birthday party, and I got drunk and on my way home I killed my
brother! I didn’t mean too, I collided with a car and.......”

Aaron’s flashback:

“Dude thanks for the party, I’m offically an adult now!” I said patting my brother on the
shoulder.

“Oh little brother you deserve everything, when we get home I have another surprise for
you.” Nick said teasing when I checked back on the road when everything went fuzzy for
a second then back to normal.

“What?”

“Now if I told you that would be a surprise now would it?” He said.

“WOOO I LOVE BEING EIGHTEEN!!!!!!” I yelled laughing and stared at the road again
when I started the road seemed to be very narrow.

I stared at the road dazed trying to stay focused but before I could a car slammed into
mine spinning it around and hit a tree.

My whole body went frozen and numb as I turned my head to look at Nick layed across
the dash board. He looked like something from a horror movie, he had blood dripping
down the sides of his head.

“Nick...” I said weakly there was no answer. I removed his seat belt and blood fell on to
my hand when I yelled at the top of my lungs.

Maybe he’s just pulling a prank..yeah a prank..he always does that to me!

He should wake up anytime now...

I put my hand up to his neck to find a pulse and there was nothing, my heart began to
race faster and faster, all I remember is that I killed my brother and the red and blue
lights flashing in my eyes.......

Back to reality:

Aaron curled up in the fetal position and began rocking back and forth shaking, when I
felt the numbness enter my body.

“So, it was accident, you were drunk?” I said bending down to hold him close as blood
came from his nose.

I rushed over to the telephone on the desk and dialed for the doctor. “Hello Dr. Franko
please, Dr. Franko!” I screamed in the phone as Aaron got up blood all over his face and
slammed the phone down staring at me.

“Please sit down and wait here until a doctor comes,”

“I need your help!” Aaron yelled with tears falling down his face.

Chapter 1 (part 2)

The doctors came rushing in the room as Gabrielle held her hands close to her mouth.

“Was he trying to attack you Gabrielle?” One doctor said.

“Hand me the straight jacket!” Another yelled.

“Stop!” Gabrielle yelled over the noise.

“Okay everyone listen up, I only dialed that number because I was afraid for him, I didn’t
want this.” She said.

The doctors jerked Aaron up and placed him in handcuffs. “Gabrielle you know rules,
you only dial if there is an emergency! And apparently there was, he’ll be in room 87 if
you need to finish evaluating, is that understood?”

Gabrielle held back her tears as she watched Aaron being pulled and tortured down the
hall.

What have I done??? She asked herself.

“Thank you for calling us in here, you did the right thing.” The doctor said shutting the
door behind him.

She knew deep down that she hadn’t done the right thing, she had to help Aaron, he was
lost.

“Knock-Knock!” Someone said entering the room as Gabrielle felt like crying for Aaron.

“Gaby..Gaby...Gaby...” Her friend Molly sighed sitting in the stool.

“I’m going to go finish my job, no time for chit chat.”

“Gaby, he’s a patient, we deal with him as a number now.” Molly patted her friends
shoulder.

“He’s not just a patient, he’s lost, all of are lost in one way or another.”

“Please tell me you don’t have a thing for this 87 do you?” Molly said when the reality
struck Gabrielle deep down, did she have a thing for him??

“I don’t know, maybe a small thing, but my work comes first!”

“Your crazy! I’m about ready to check you into this place if you ever fall for him!”

“I’m not, I just think he’s a little cute!”

“Gabrielle Ann!” Her friend complained.

“Molly, I’m going to try and save him!”

“Oh good luck there, plus I wouldn’t mind having your top position job right now!”

“Look I don’t need you telling me how to run my job or my life!” She said holding on
hard to the door handle, getting a little sick of her friend.

“Oh yeah and what if Doctor Franko finds out about your affair?”

“Its not an affair, I’m doing my job!” With that Gabrielle slammed the door behind her
and walked over to room 87 watching Aaron sit on the white padded floor trying to break
off the handcuffs.

And as for Molly she smirked in disgust and thought of the perfect way to get her friends
job. “Well see about that!” She said picking up the phone.

Gabrielle’s POV:
“Hello stranger,” I said unlocking his door and slowly sat down next to him pulling out
my clipboard.

“You lied to me!” Aaron yelled.

“About what?” I said softly.

“About everything! You said no straight jacket or handcuffs!”

“No I said depends whether or not you get them.”

“What do you want know?”

“What do you mean?”

“To evaluate me on next? Why I killed him?”

“No, No Aaron....” I thought a moment.

“Then what?” He said angrily.

I couldn’t tell him I liked him, I just couldn’t, so I thought of something else to say;
praying it won’t alter our relationships as of now!

“Tomorrow I have lunch with you and we need to talk?”

“I’m done talking to everyone! You should go call my parents and have them get me out
here, before I do and kill myself!”

“Look just because your brother died...”

“I killed him! But of course you don’t know what that’s like?” He said pulling hard on
his handcuffs.

“Yes I do,”

“What are you going lie to make me feel better?”

“I had an abortion at fifteen,”

“I’m sure,”

“I did!” I said as tears fell long and hard against my cheeks.

He sighed deeply and thought to himself, how he hated seeing her tears, but then his
thoughts shifted to the tears he cried nights and days over his brother.

“I’ll see you tomorrow,” I said getting up slowly and walked to the door.

“Hey Gabrielle, I’m so sorry.” He said when I was too weak to smile.

“I really like you, and I’m going to help you.” I said softly closing the door behind when
Aaron face lit up as he laid down on the floor and went to sleep.

Chapter 2 (Part 1)

Gabrielle’s POV:
I sat in the lunch room with Aaron at a private table eating our lunch.

“Did you sleep well?” I asked breaking the silence.

“I miss home, like a lot, and I hate being thought of as crazy.”

“Yeah, I’m trying my hardest to get you out of here.”

“And I really appreciate that, I just can’t go back to my home.”

“Why?” I pulled out my clipboard from my backpack.

“Never mind, you’ll write it down, like everything else.”

I smiled and picked at my food shaking my head.

“Why you get an abortion?”

My eyes shot up and glared at him.

“Um, I don’t wanna talk about that.”

“I spilled my heart out to you yesterday and you won’t tell me this?”

“There’s a fine line between a nurse and a number.”

“Is that what I am to you? A frikken number?” He yelled.

I slowly chewed on my food and let out a sigh.

“No I don’t think that at all.”

“Then why? Why did you do that?”

“Because I was young and stupid, my boyfriend abused me, he was a freshman in
college.”

“And they think I’m crazy!”

I lifted up an eyebrow and flung a carrot at him.

“Are you flirting with me?”

“Not even, your not my type.” I said smiling, feeling my cheeks get really warm.

“Tell me who is, so next I see you I can be?” He said flirtatiously.

“Ugh, I think your flirting with me?”

“You really think so?”

“Yep,”

“Why did you wanna work somewhere like this?”

“I let you know later,”

“What if there is no later?”

“Of course there will be later,”

“I sure hope my time will be with you later,”

“Damnit,” I sighed staring at my clipboard noticing I hadn’t written anything down for
day 2.

“What?”

“I need something to say for day two,”

“Very ill still and may need more time and an upgrade on meds.” He said staring at my
papers.

“Gabrielle?” Dr. Franko said approaching me.

“Yes Dr. Franko,”

“I need to see you in my office,” He said sternly as guards came and took Aaron back to
his cell.

My heart pounded hard when I thought the worst.

Chapter 2 (Part 2)

I sat in his office with my hands crossed over my chest, this was it, I’m getting fired I just
know it!!!!

“Gabrielle,”

“Yes,”

“Tell me how do you do it?”

“What sir?”

“Work so well with the patients, I mean number forty three, she’s doing so much better
this week, all because of you.”

“I guess I can relate to some,”

“Your not crazy Gabrielle, I think I just may need to boost your money here and possibly
your position.”

“I don’t know what to say?”

“You can start by saying ka-ching!” He said mimicking a cash register.

“Thank you so much Dr. Franko, I won’t ever let you down.”

“One more thing,” I swallowed hard.

“I wish I had more nurses like you.” I smiled and headed out the door grinning widely.

“Hey Gaby,” Molly said snooty.

“Hey Mol, whats up?”

“Nothing, I’m going on vacation for two weeks in Havana and I was wondering if you
wanted to come with me?”

“No thank you, I just got a higher position and pay.”

“Oh is that so, Dr. Franko wants me to evaluate 87 when I return?” She said fixing her
hair.

“So,”

“So, you can kiss your job goodbye, once I find out what’s been going on?”

“Nothing is going on between 87 and I, he’s a patient, unlike some people I wanna keep
my job!” I said sternly walking away. (Disliking my only best friend more by the
moment!)

“Or so she thinks,” Molly said curling her hair around her finger.

Chapter 3 (Part 1)

Gabrielle POV:

“He’s just a patient..patient...patient...patient!!!!” I muttered waking up from sleeping on
my desk.

I looked around and no one was in site and all the patients were fast asleep, all the guards
we’re off duty, to my left was a note from Dr. Franko.

“Dear Gaby, please be sure to lock up the front door when you leave, I know you have
some extra paper work your lacking to fill out, but I put my trust in you. Take care, Dr.
Franko.”

WOO-I’m by myself with a bunch of psychotic people..I meant that sarcastically not
intentionally.

I dashed out of my office as quite as I could and crept over to 87.

I slowly unlocked his cell as he laid on the floor curled up in the fetal position when I
gently tapped him on the shoulder.

“Wake up sleepy head, time to evaluate?”

“No!”

“Get up now!” I said sternly when he opened his eyes and stared at me.

“What are you doing here?”

“E-val-UATING!” I said smiling.

“Goodnight,”

I cleared my throat. “I’m here by myself and I’m kinda lonely, I’m in the mood for
dancing.” I said seductively.

“Dancing, have fun?”

“And I want you to be with me?”

“Wow, sure, one question how am I going to get out with camera’s and guards?” He said
slowly sitting up.

“Well there’s only one thing, wait here!” I got up and started heading to Dr. Franko’s
office and grabbed a white doctor outfit and then rushed back to his cell.

“No way? You’d do this for me?”

I grabbed his cheek and pushed my lips on to his and passionately began kissing him.

Aaron touched his lips smiling when I blushed.

“Come on we only have a couple of hours,” He put on the coat and we walked out the
door when guards waved to us.

“Have a nice night guys,” I said smiling when Aaron followed me to my car.

“Nice convertable,” (GOSH BETH!!!! YOUR RIGHT! I'm such A FRIKKEN IDIOT!..*cough* oh back to the story..)

“Don’t be afraid okay? I’m sober!”

He nodded and slowly got in the car.

I backed out of the parking lot and sped off into town.

“We did it!” He yelled tossing Dr. Franko’s coat off.

“Why?” He asked.

“Why what?” I asked.

“Why did you wanna help me?”

“That I’ll tell you later,”

“What is with you and later?”

I shrugged pulling into the dance studio.

“Live performance by Crossfade?”

“We probably missed it but least we’re together right?”

“That is for sure,” He said getting out of the car taking my hand.

“We can only be here for two hours then we gotta head back?”

“Fine by me,”

“And no drinking?”

“Yes ma,” He teased when I glarred at him.

I took off my nurse attire revealing a skimpy black dress that showed off every curve and
a lot of cleavage.

“I thought you only wore that white outfit?”

“You need to get out more,”

“Now your really flirting with me!”

“Get a life!” I said when he grabbed my hand running to the center of the dance floor and
began grinding into to the beat of the song.

This song (Cold-Crossfade) reminded me so much of Aaron, I just couldn’t understand
why at the moment, I loved being with Aaron and without the clipboard in hand!

“I wanna go out with you Gaby,” he whispered in my ear when I slowly turned around
put my hands in his front pockets swaying back and forth.

“I do too,” I whispered back when I felt his lips press against mine and then gently he
moved down to my neck.

An unclear sensation filled my entire body and I wanted more.

“Follow me?” He took me outside and led me back to my car.

“Keys?” He said reaching out for the car keys.

“You sure you wanna do this?”

He backed out of the driveway and headed to the beach few minutes away.

“Where are we going?” I asked when he turned on the radio when Crossfade came on the
radio.

“My special place,”

When they got to the beach Aaron parked close to the ocean and lowered his seat and
stretched out.

Gabrielle smiled seductively at him when he bit down on his lower lip.

“This is my favorite place, to come to when the world seems to fall apart and too bad I
don’t have an oceanview in my cell.”

“I’ll be your ocean,” She said scooting in closer to him running her hand down his shirt,
before she could go any lower Aaron brought her hand up to his lips and began nibbling
on her fingertips.

With that Aaron crawled in the back seat pulling Gaby on top of him and started ripping
the clothes off her body and passionately made love to her under the stars in her
convertible.

“Now this my favorite place,” She whispered.

“Mine too...” He said as he gently pushed into her body when she let out soft moans.

This was the best night Gabrielle had spent with anyone in her life, she didn’t want this
moment to end.

His breathing lulled her into a peacefull sleep as he held her close to his smooth warm
naked body.

Meanwhile the clock on the raido read 5:30, work started in thirty minutes.

“Aaron wake up!” She said pushing his shoulders off her she observed her naked body.

What the hell happend? She thought, she couldn’t remember anything from that night.

“Aaron!” She said continue pushing his arms off her.

“What?”

“We have to get back work starts in thirty minutes,” She said panicked getting dressed.

“Oh right!” He quickly put on his clothes over hearing sirens edge closer and closer.

Chapter 3 (Part 3)

Gabrielle POV:

Aaron peered over his shoulder seeing two cop cars race along the road and let out a
heavy sigh.

“Damn that was close!” He said when I smiled starting up the car and rushed back over
to the hospital.

“Here put this back on?” I tossed him Dr. Franko’s coat.

“We’re going back?”

“You don’t want them to think something is going on between us do you?”

“No, I don’t.”

“Then trust me,”

“I’m trying,”

I slammed on the breaks at a red light.


“Your going to go in there looking like that?” I combed my hand through my hair making
it less frazzled.

“At least let me fix your lipstick,” Aaron leaned and gave me a short yet sweet kiss.

“Thanks,” I said and pulled into the parking lot and tried my hardest to quit smiling.

“You can do can does this Gaby,” Aaron said reassuring me.

I shut my car door and realized my panties we’re on the backseat as well as Aaron’s
handcuffs, but it was too late to get them know.

“Good morning Gabrielle,” One of the guards said.

“Good morning,” I said walking into the building and then Aaron and I ran to his cell as I
stripped him of his coat.

“I’ll be back,”

“Gaby wait!” Aaron said grabbing my hand and kissed it.

“Did I say thank you?”

“Yes, and your welcome. I’ll see you in a little while alright?”

“Alright,” Aaron sat down in his cell when I made a dash to Dr. Franko’s office returning
his coat.

“Phew,” I sighed turning around, there stood Molly....

Chapter 3 (Part 4)

“Well....Well....Welll...” Molly sighed.

“Someone’s here awfully early,”

“I know, what a coincidence?”

“Darling you forgot to brush your hair this morning and your make up?”

“I couldn’t sleep, I found out 87 is a killer.”

“No way, kidding?”

“No, I read what his parents wrote, what an awful thing he did.” I lied.

“Oh I’m so sorry, well don’t let that poo-poo your parade, I’ll be in Havana living it up,
meeting real men not one’s in straight jackets..”

“Have fun and you know you should stay a longer time there, its an honor filling in for
you?”

“Really? The world needs more people like you Gaby, your so genorous.” Molly licked
bottom lip and rolled her eyes. “Oh and I wish you well staying here, sorry things didn’t
work out between you and 87.” She said walking away heckling right as Dr. Franko
walked out of his office wearing a pair of specticles scanning a piece of paper.

“I’m sorry to do this Molly...Payback’s such a b*tch and so are you!” I whispered to
myself.

“Gaby,” He said.

“Good morning Dr. Franko,”

“Good morning indeed,”

“I’m sure you have plenty to fill in for 87 today?”

I stood there feeling my cheeks get warm.

“Dr. Franko, there’s something I have to say, you know Molly Mauch?”

“Yes,” He said sternly.

“She told me not to tell anyone, but she’s having an affair with a patient, it is to my
understanding that, that is wrong.”

Dr. Franko laughed and stroked his chin.

“Very wrong indeed....Really?”

“Why else would she go away for two weeks in Havana? So it won’t be obvious?”

“Gaby!” He said exasperated.

“Yes Dr. Franko?”

“I love your honesty and this hospital really needs more nurses like you...today every
hour you work I’ll boost that wage by a dollar!”

I smiled and did a curtsy.

“Thank you so much Dr. Franko, for everything and being like a dad to me.”

“No problem...now get back to work before I lower it 50 cents for bribery..”

“Yes sir!” I said walking over to 87’s cell smiling.

“Ready for your evaluation?”

He yawned heavily and shook his head.

“Yeah I am,” He lied.

“Today we’re going to do something different,”

Aaron arched an eyebrow and shrugged nervously.

“Okay, what is it?”

“Lay down on your back?”

I took out a flash light and stood over him clicking on the flashlight when he flinched.

“This is only to help you,”

I pointed the flashlight down in his eyes when tears poured out of his eyes and blood
slowly fell out of his nose. His body began shaking uncontrollaby as the flashbacks came
in his mind haunting him.

I sat in his cell hugging my knee’s waiting for him to calm down, he finally rolled over
on his side, his face was covered in blood.

“I’m sorry,” Was all I could say.

“What was that for? I went from having the perfect night with you last night and I wake
to this?”

“This is for own good, I’m a nurse and I’m suppose to help you.” I ran my hand through
his hair and wiped the blood way from his face.

“No I’m sorry, I’m just not ready for all that.”
“Get up?” I helped him up and placed handcuffs on him and led him out of the cell.

“Where are we going? The electric chair?”

“Close, your going to be with me...taking a walk?”

“You can do that?”

“Yeah as long as a nurse or guard is with you,”

“I don’t want handcuffs,”

“Not any more then I wanna keep you in them,”

“When can I leave?”

“The longest a patient can stay is up to three months,”

I said leading him out the door to a private park across from the hospital.

“And after that,”

“Dr. Franko evaluates you and he deciedes if you cut the mustard,”

“Why three months?”

“Just the lucky number I guess,”

I took the handcuffs off him when we reached the park and walked to a picnic table that
was close to the river.

He laughed at nothing and locked his hand in mine.

I joined in laughing with him and pulled my purse in front of me pulling out my lunch.

“Wanna feed them?”

Aaron just stared at me and brushed a piece of hair behind my ear.

“No,” He sighed and then leaned into gently brushed his lips on mine.

“I wanna see you again tonight?”

“Me too,”

“Where do you have in mind?”

“Where ever you want? You pick this time Aaron.”

I stepped in between his legs and wrapped my arms over his shoulder and began nibbling
on his neck and then moved up to his earlobe.

“You know orange is really starting to be so your color?” I teased.

“I love you Gaby,” He whispered in return.

“I wanna marry you, Aaron Charles Carter.” I said bringing my face close to his and
passionatly starting kissing him.

He cradled my face in his hand and then stared deep in my eyes.

“What do you see?” He asked.

“An ocean,” I said when his heart pounded hard in his chest.

“What about me Aaron? What do you see?”

“I see everything...........”

“Don’t joke like that,” I said twisting his hair on my fingertips.

“I need a laugh every now and then incase you haven’t noticed I’m in correctional facilty
with people who are far off more crazy me.”

“Actually your as equal in Dr. Franko’s mind, I’ve seen worse personally, but I’ve never
thought I’d fall for you.”

He smiled and tried to kiss me again but stopped.

“Lets head back,” He said.

“You sure?”

“I don’t want you to loose this job,” He said smiling.

I smiled back in return as my insides danced in extacy.

Chapter 4:
Gabrielle POV:
As the days passed I’d come to work right on time and got started early on my
evaluations with Aaron, each day he became more and more better at his progress. The
more and more of us spending time together made me a lot more confident with myself
and there just was one secret I kept, that I would not tell Aaron, that I was pregnant
again!

I tried my hardest to avoid that, but when times got silent it was hard, today we sat in the
game room playing checkers and exchanged a few smiles.

“Queen me!” I said.

“Its king me!”

“I’m not a man,”

“Unless your keeping something like that from me!” He teased patting my hand.

“Hey you going to King me or what?”

“Are you getting smart with me, I’m going to have get you back for that!”

“You wouldn’t dare,”

He reached under the table and began tickling me when I smiled at first then soon tensed
grasping his hand and moving it away.

“Is something the matter?”

“No,”

He slowly moved his next piece wondering what I meant.

“Is there something your not telling me?”

“I cheated!” I lied when he didn’t quite catch on.

“On me?”

“No! In the game!”

“Oh that’s okay,” He said grinning ear to ear.

“What do you wanna do after I beat you?”

“Who says your going to win?”
“I am!”

“I doubt it!”

“Well your good looks can’t win you out of this one Gaby?”

“They got me this far in life didn’t they?” He smiled and with that he so wanted to kiss
me, but he couldn’t risk it, with the guards outside the heavy doors and the camera’s
peering down on us.

“How about you wait just a little longer and I’ll give it to you,” I said, when he arched an
eyebrow then laughed.

“Oh I see,”

My stomach felt like it was in a bunch of knots and acid in my stomach burned, I
couldn’t let him know. Of course I had to tell him he was the father!

“Dinner!” A nurse said coming in the game room when I placed the handcuffs on Aaron.

“Are you ready?” I asked.

“Yeah,” He said smiling.

When we got to the cafeteria I got two slices of pepperoni pizza and two tall glasses of
root beer.

I sat back down smiling at Aaron handing him his food.

“Finally real food!” He said taking a large bite of his food when I slowly picked my piece
up.

“Mmm pizza,” I said weakly.

“You know Gaby, I was thinking about where to go tonight?”

“Where’s that?”

“Down town, every year they have the Christmas carnival.”

“I love carnivals,”

“What do you say?”

“I’m in,”

“How are we going to sneak out this time?”

I grinned and rolled my eyes shaking my head.

“Leave it up to me,”

“Promise?”

“I promise,”

Later that windy night, I went back to my shabby apartment and got dressed in a black
skirt with a red chenille off the shoulder sweater.

For Aaron I grabbed an umbrella and an extra outfit for him to change into.

Getting out of the hospital this time was a lot easier then last time, the guards we’re all
asleep in the front office, so we went out the back way.

I drove to the top of town with the sterio blasting and parked in the mall parking lot
which was across the street was the carnival.

Aaron reached for my hand as we both grinned, in front of our eyes was the carnival with
clowns walking on boards and handing out cotton candy and the lights shinned in both
our eyes. I felt so much like a child at heart.

“Where do you wanna go first?” I asked when Aaron took my hand leading me to the
shooting tin cans booth.

“Darn I don’t have any money this is my favorite game,” I reached in my purse and
handed him a twenty dollar bill.

“Now you do,” He took the money paying the man behind the booth.

“One game please,” Aaron said when the man handed me back seventeen dollars in
change.

Aaron knocked every tin can down with the BB gun and won me a huge teddy bear.

“Aww thank you Aaron,” I said hugging my bear.

“Your welcome,”

“I so wanna go on the merry go round,” I said when we ran over to the merry go round.

“I feel like I did 9 years ago,” He said as we slowly got on the ride and stood by the pretty
unicorn ride while I set my bear down.

I gently cradled his face and slowly began to passioniatly kiss him, he seemed to enjoy
every second of that kiss.

The ride jerked forward when I fell into Aaron’s arms and began laughing hysterically.

“Do you like rollercoasters?” I asked.

“Only when I’m drunk,”

“Me too,” I said smiling.

“Shall we? One drink won’t hurt.”

“One of us has to drive back,”

“The hospital is fifteen minutes from here, we can walk if we have to.”

“One drink alright?”

“Your drinking with me?”

“No!” I said thinking about the little one inside of me.

“Yes,”

“Come on please?”

“Fine,” I sighed.

“One and that’s it!”

“Oh come on, then I can’t take advantage of you.”

“You wouldn’t,”

“Possible,” He said when the ride stoped and we walked over the bar and Aaron ordered
up a large alcoholic drink for each of us.

“I can’t drink all this,” I said sitting at a bar stool.

“Come on its not like your pregnant?” He said when I glarred at him, he just shook his
head.

I took a big gulp of the thick liquid.

“Raspberry?”

“My favorite,”

“Mine too,”

“Drink up, that line is getting long for the rollercoaster.”

In which reality there was only 2 people standing in line.

“Oh they have kiwi lemon flavored beer,”

“You wanna try?” The bartender said.

“Just a shot,”

“I’ll try one too,” Aaron said.

Pretty soon there was several glasses on the table and my vision was getting really poor
and so was my stomach. I stared at Aaron and slouched on top of the table laughing
hysterically for no apparent reason..Soon I faced the facts...I WAS DRUNK OUT OF MY
MIND! and so was AARON..............there is no way we can make it back to the hospital
without being drunk....

I stared at my watch when it read 2:20 work started in 3 hours....

Chapter 4 (Part 2)

Gabrielle and Aaron sat at the bar laughing at random things and both we’re dangerously
drunk.

“Lets go ride the roller coaster,” Aaron said holding on to the chair for balance.

“Woo-I love roller coasters!” Gaby said laughing and took Aaron’s hand straggling to
make it across the street.

“Gaby!” Aaron yelled when she waved getting in the passenger seat of her car.

“Aaron!” She yelled back.

“I’m coming,” He sighed.

While closing the door behind Aaron he began to passionately kiss Gaby for what seemed
to be an eternity. Aaron’s hands slowly start to undress Gaby when she began to do the
same. She let out loud orgasmic sighs and jerked the shirt off him as he leaned back in
the chair and Gaby crawled on top of him ripping off his jeans as her foot pressed hard on
the steering wheel.

“Gaby...the roller coaster, its starting.” He said pushing her off him and held her close in
his arms and started up the car and slowly started to move forward.

Apparently them being drunk didn’t seem to bother them, they felt like they we’re
completely normal, but something in the back of Aaron’s mind knew something was
wrong...but he didn’t wanna spend another cold lonely night in his cell. He knew how to
drink responsibly, or so he thought.............

“This is so much fun,” She said waving her hands in the air turning on the stereo.

“I know, wee!” Aaron said taking his hands off the wheel for a second.

“You wanna know something?” She said in a high pitch tone.

“What?” He yelled back playfully.

“I’m pregnant and your the father!” She yelled over the radio.

Funny how honest she was being very drunk but Aaron was another story!

“You wanna know something about me, I didn’t really get in a car crash, I just wanted to
live in the hospital because you were there!”

“Oh and you know what else.....”

“What?”

“I have a pillow named Aaron!”

He laughed and she joined in and stared at the road getting narrow.

“This roller coaster is making me dizzy,” She said.

“Me too,” He said crossing a dangerous intersection when a car pulled out in front of
them...............(Same intersection where Nick and Aaron got in Car accident!)

“I love you Gaby,”

“I love you too,” She said leaning in and gave him a peck on the cheek.

The oncoming vehicle honked its horn as Aaron just waved to the driver as it hit there car
so hard spinning around and smacked hard into a tall tree.....

Chapter 4 (Part 3)

(Alright fellow readers this is close to the end only one chapter left...and I reccomend you
get a tissuebox or a toilet roll if you must..this is the toughest chapter I had to write!)

“Hey Gaby the rides over!” Aaron said as he flung over the steering wheel and blood fell
from the sides of his head.

He slowly opened his eyes and saw Gaby blood pouring out of the top of her head and her
mouth.

“Gaby...” Aaron said his voice cracked suddenly his thoughts went sober and reality
finally began to kick in...

Aaron moved her hair back and checked for a pulse and there was nothing when he let
out a loud painful scream with tears crawling down his cheeks.

“Gaby!” Aaron said shaking her as her head fell low and her body fell on the dash board.
“I’m so sorry,” he whispered and thought how awful it was for him to drink and to force
her to drink.

Why am I still alive...........again? He thought.

He picked up a small sliver of glass and brought it to his wrist and stared one last time at
Gaby. He leaned in and kissed her cold cheek and brought the sliver of glass close to his
wrist sighing.

“Now I guess we can both can be with the ones we love,” He slowly pushed the glass
hard on his wrist and nerve, his eyes gently rolled in the back of his head.

“AARON NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Gaby yelled in his mind....or was it..

“I should have been died a long time ago........I love you so much Gaby.”

With that he pushed the glass deeper into his wrist and began shaking and soon felt his
body go ice cold.

Yet again he survived another fatal accident.

Maybe it was God telling him it wasn’t his time....but why would it be Gaby’s and not
his? None of this made sense..to Aaron.

His last thoughts before his body was decaying he thought of Gaby and only Gaby and all
the wonderful things they had done together. His body was slowly dying from the outside
when he laid across the seat resting his head on Gaby’s dead body.

He held tightly on to her hand as the ringing in his ears kept burning.

“I love you........” Were his last words before he had finally saw nothing more then a
black light and went into a peaceful sleep and was sent to Heaven with a peaceful mind.

(Not the end..............no goodbyes...just yet...one chapter remains with a shocker that
you’ll never forget!)

Chapter 5: (Part 1)
(ALRIGHT sorry for the delay..I decieded to shake things up a bit and make this story
longer...THANX for the COMMENTS you guys ROCK MY WORLD!)

Gaby laid on a hospital bed when doctors surrounded her and she stared blankly at the
bright light above when she couldn’t recall where she was.

“Gabrielle?” A doctor said.

She didn’t say anything just she laid there freezing cold and her head spinning.

“She’s alive,” Another doctor said.

“Aaron...” She muttered when a doctor shook his head when tears fell long and hard on
her face.

Was he dead? She thought the worse.

“Gabrielle do you wanna go on a walk and ease the pain,” Nurse Nina said strolling in a
wheelchair.

Nina was a thin black lady with french curled hair and a very dry personality.

Gabrielle nodded and slowly stood up staring at her body when her heart beat fast, her
knee’s were black and blue and she gently peeled the collar of her shirt forward and
looked at her stomach which was unharmed. She smiled inside knowing the baby was
going to live...she just wasn’t sure of her.

She sat in the wheelchair and was slowly pushed through the hospital and looked inside
each room hoping to at least find Aaron.

She rather see for herself if he was dead then have some doctor tell her the hardship.

“Your so lucky to make it alive,” Nina said as they strolled passed one room where a man
with blonde hair and laid on a table with a doctor pulling out a white body bag.

Tears fell once more along her face. “Aaron..” She muttered putting her hand on the
window when she felt her whole body go numb.

“Um maybe a walk wasn’t a good idea,” Nina said.

A doctor stared at Gaby and rushed over to the window and put down a black curtain so
she couldn’t see anything.

“Who was that?” She asked when Nina just continued to push her along the hallway and
around the hospital.

Gabrielle couldn’t stop wondering why she had survived and where Aaron was, did they
take him back to the other hospital because of his survival..her heart just wanted to know
the answers.

Aaron laid on a hospital bed with multiple wires attached to him when he slowly opened
his eyes he saw a nurse watering some flowers and a police officer holding his notepad
close to his chest.

He stared at his battered hand bleeding through the wrapped gauze.

“Good your awake,”

Aaron stared at the police officer with full concern.

“Where’s Gaby?” The police officer shook his head and extended a hand.

“I’m here to talk to you about your accident, apparently the young lady you were seen
with hasn’t been seen since the crash and you were drinking under the influence a felony
here.”

“Gaby?” Aaron said looking passed the officer when he saw a girl that sharply resembled
Gaby in a wheelchair strolling by.

Aaron quickly shot up when the wires were still attached and pushed him back on the
blankets.

“Look son, your completly wasting your time, I’m sorry.”

Aaron bit his lip and hated every moment of talking to this police officer.

“Are you going to take me to jail?”

“No, the correctional facilty, where you will be with a guard twenty four seven, none of
this nurse B.S....”

“Gaby!” Aaron called (Obvoisly ignoring the police officer) when the girl in wheelchair
stopped....

Chapter 6: (Part 1)
Its been almost a year since Gaby saw Aaron alive, in that time she had a baby boy,
whom she called Charles; Aaron’s middle name. Since she already had a pillow named
Aaron...

Gaby sat in a rocking chair and sat by the fire place holding Charles close to her bosom,
while staring deep into the fire.

“Rock a bye little baby, in momma’s arms is where you’ll be forever.” She lulled her
precious little one into a deep sleep and soon laid him in the crib.

“Goodnight my baby,” She said and walked into the kitchen and pulled out a small bottle
of pills and soon took two pills and sat on the bar stool running her hand through her hair.

“I can’t keep doing this,” She muttered staring at the fire then picked up her glass of
water taking a big gulp.

Gaby took a picture of Aaron off her fridge and stared at it then walked back into the
living room holding back tears.

“Where are you? You know it doesn’t matter anymore, I probably wouldn’t reconize you
if I ran into you on the street!” She kissed the photo and then tossed it in the fire place.

“Goodbye,” She whispered as the fire outlined the picture and then soon turned into ash.

Her pills soon kicked in as she picked up Charles and carried him into her bedroom and
laid him on her bed and laid next to him as she ran her hands through his hair as she fell
fast asleep.

Aaron stood at the gate at the correctional facilty and just smiled as the memories filled
his mind, all he could think of was his sweet Gaby.

“I can’t keep doing this,” He muttered to himself and then finally sighed heavily and
walked in the door.

This was the last place he ever wanted to be at the moment, but if he ever wanted to be
with Gaby again it was his only choice.

“May I help you?” A lady at the front desk said when Aaron looked off at his old cell and
felt a tear fall down his cheek. There was tape across his cell that read: 87 IS KILLER!!

“Yes, I’m looking for Gaby?”

“Gaby?” The lady said.

“We don’t have anyone here by that name, I’m sorry.”

“Please just check the records, its been nine months since she worked here.”

“We only keep are records for 3 months,”

“Of course you do, its the lucky number.” He mumbled to himself walking straight to Dr.
Franko’s office.

“Sir, your not aloud back there.”

“Shut it!” Aaron yelled and banged on Dr. Franko’s door.

“May I help you?”

“Where’s Gaby?”

He started heckling and stroking his beard. “No...No..No..”

“God damnit tell me!!!!!” Aaron yelled pushing Dr. Franko up against the wall.

“Your cell is still free killer!” Aaron dropped Dr. Franko and glarred at him.

“I’m taking this!” Aaron grabbed a large file.

“Gabrielle Smith,” Dr. Franko sputtered when Aaron pushed him against the door and
walked out of the correctional facilty holding the file close to his heart.......I finally found
what I’ve been looking for.........NOT QUITE!!!!!! Aaron thought.

Chaper 6: (Part 2)

Aaron sat outside the parking lot of a gas station opening the large file and to his surprise
inside was nothing more then blank evaluation sheets.

“Damnit!” He said agravated and slowly got up and tossed it in the trash can.

He walked into the 7-11 getting a large slurpee and then walked into town walking
through the streets.

Little did he know what was three blocks away from him.

He took his sip of his slurpee and walked three blocks to a well known park called
“Heavenly Oaks”. He always would walk here and sit by the river and thought of one
thing Gaby.

Gaby sat in the middle of the park on top of an old hand-me-down quilt with baby
Charles crawling on it.

“Peek a boo!” She said peering through her hands and then closed them.

Little Charles laugh made Gaby’s insides dance and her heart soar, she loved her baby
boy more then anything.

“Peek a boo!” She said again.

“I love you Charles,” She said kissing his little feet and lightly tickled his toes.

Aaron slowly approached Gaby, his knee’s buckled and his heart skipped a beat.

“Excuse me miss?” He said in less then a whisper.

Gaby picked up Charles holding him close to her bosom and got up and started walking
away.

“I’m not going to hurt you,” Aaron said holding out his hand.

Baby Charles began to cry frantically when Gaby let out a sigh and she slowly started to
walk backwards away from Aaron.

“Gaby?” Aaron sputtered.

“How do you know my name?” She said shaking a little.

“Gaby its me,”

“I don’t know you,” She said as she slowly tripped over a stump when Aaron rushed
behind her and got her.

Gaby bent over grabbing the quilt and started walking away from Aaron.

He couldn’t figure out what was so different about him, maybe this was the wrong girl?

She must have memory loss? Aaron questioned.

“Please don’t go,” He offered with a tear falling down his cheek.

If this was Gaby, why did she have a baby? Was she married? Does she not know who I
am? His mind played twenty questions.

“Gaby its me Aaron,” He said as she gave him the dear in the headlight look.

“A-Aaron,” She sputtered and shook her head.

Aaron nodded and he reconized Gaby’s voice a mile away.

“No, No, No!” She screamed.

“He’s dead,”

“He lived and he wants you back,”

“HELP!” She screamed at the top of her lungs as Aaron slowly walked towards her.

She cupped his face in her hands and laughed quietly.

“You are alive,”

Aaron slowly brought his hand up to her face and brushed her tears back with his thumb,
as she offered for him to hold Charles.

“Who is this?”

“Charles,” She said smiling when Aaron’s heart beat faster as he stared at Charles.

“Is he mine?” She nodded and smiled softly.

“He’s beautiful,” He said grinning feeling the tears come down his face.

“What happened to you after that night?” She asked.

“I cried many many times. What about you and Charles? Are you Married? Did you get
fired? Are you mad at me?” He panicked.

She shook her head and felt the tears hit her cheeks hard like thunder. “No, how’d you
find me?”

“I went to the correctional facilty and I hit Dr. Franko only because he wrote KILLER on
my cell.”

She frowned and reached for Charles and held him close to her.

“I’m not the same person since you left me Gaby, I need you.”

“I wish I could say the same,” She said closing her eyes.

Chapter 6 (Part 3)

“I’m sorry I made you drink,” Aaron said honestly.

Gaby slowly brought her head up staring at Aaron with tears slowly creeping down her
face, Aaron stared at her with full concern and walked to her as she shoved baby Charles
in his hands and ran far off into the distance.

Aaron handed Charles to some old lady sitting on a bench and said “I’ll be back,”.

“Gaby!” Aaron yelled running over to the her and wrapped her in his warm arms as she
couldn’t stop crying and missed being in his arms.

“Its okay Gaby, I’m here now, please give me another chance. I didn’t mean to bring up
the accident.” She pulled away and started to push him off her.

Gaby had a fear and that was the accident, she couldn’t let it go, she held all her fear and
anger inside of her...no matter how hard she could let it go...

“You were never there for me and Charles,” She yelled breathing heavily beating her fists
into his chest.

“Never!” She screamed.

“Your such a stupid jerk!” She said hitting him as tears fell from Aaron’s eyes when he
grabbed her hands and brushed away his tears.

Gaby stared at Aaron when reality struck in and they headed back to get Charles in
complete silence.

“I’m sorry,” She whispered holding Charles close to her.

“No I am,” Aaron said.

“I never was there for nine months and I’m sorry for that,” Gaby planted a kiss on
Aaron’s cheek and took his hand as they walked along the park hand in hand.

“Aaron, I’d like for you to come to dinner with me and Charles.”

“I don’t know where you live?” She smiled as she headed back to her little condo.

“6823 Maple Lane, I mean unless you rather I go to your mansion Carter.”

“I don’t have that, I lost everything when I lost you.”

“Don’t be silly,”

“I slept on the streets night and day for nine months,”

“Your always welcome to stay with me and Charles, he really needs his father.”

“Oh Gaby, I can’t, that would embark on you and your life.”

“No you are part of my life now, Plus I just may need an extra pillow tonight.” She said
when they arrived at her condo.

“Gaby!” Aaron said exasperated.

“Come on, let me tuck wee-one to bed. Make yourself at home.”

Gaby walked into Charles bedroom and tucked him in and then walked into the bathroom
and pulled out some victoria secret lingerie and sprayed on sprinkled some water on her.
She let down her hair shaking it free and sprayed on some very feminine perfume.

Aaron sat on the couch watching ESPN sports when Gaby walked out in front of the TV
and grabbed two candles and walked back into her bedroom setting them on top of her
dresser as Aaron had two hands on both sides of the doorway.

“What is this for?” He said when Gaby jumped a little turning around to see Aaron
standing there, she nervously turned back around and reached in her top dresser drawer
pulling out Aaron’s old handcuffs.

“I’m feeling naughty,” She said flirtatiously twirling the handcuffs around her finger.

Aaron quickly undressed and slowly approached Gaby in his tight wifebeater and black
and red boxers and slowly swayed side to side.

“And I’m feeling like the luckiest man in the whole world right now!”

“Oh get over yourself,” She teased pulling away when Aaron stood there wondering what
she meant.

She rushed over to the light switch turning it off then pushed another button reavealing a
sun roof, reavealing all the stars in the sky that night.

“Wow....” Aaron sighed trying his best to take in everything.

Gaby ran back over to her bed pulling Aaron down on top of her as their tongues fought
and there bodies clashed together and once more they made love under the beautiful
stars....


(AWW......I say in order for the next chapter I’m going to start a fee if I don’t a ton of

Chapter 7: (Part 1)

Gaby woke up early the next morning still wrapped in Aaron’s smooth warm arms
smiling.

She gently crawled in between his legs and brought her lips to his planting small kisses
from his neck up to his lips.

Aaron slowly opened his eyes and saw Gaby’s beautiful face, he smiled running his hand
through her hair.

“Charles should wake up anytime now,” She whispered.

“Last night was incredible Gaby,” Aaron gingerly running his bulky hands over her bare
shoulders.

“I still can’t believe I found you,” He whispered.

“I’m glad you did,” She said.

“Gaby there’s something I have to ask you, I mean I know its kinda wrong of me, but I
really truly don’t wanna loose you again so I’ve decieded to ask you....Will you...” His
sweet voice was interupted by a loud knock at the door.

“Do you want me to get it?” He asked.

“Your naked!” She said rolling her eyes.

“And what are you dressed for your high school prom?”

“If it was with you maybe?” She teased when his cheeks blushed.

The loud knock came again when Gaby grabbed Aaron’s t-shirt off the floor and slipped
in on over her head.

“I’m coming!” She yelled agitated as little Charles starting crying in the background.

“Gosh dangit!” She moaned and slowly opened the door, when Dr. Franko stood in the
door way and beside him were Aaron’s parents.

“Dr. Franko?”

“Gaby, this is Mr. and Mrs. Carter, I’m not sure you remember them?” He said sternly.

“Of course I do,”

“Sorry to wake you but there seems to be a problem...”

“With?”

“87,”

“What about 87?”

“Rumor has it he’s still alive?”

She smiled and shook her head.

“I haven’t seen him,” She lied when her body burned as she saw two cops walk into the
apartment.

“Please,” She started.

“Gaby, I trusted you, his parents did too.”

She felt the salty tears fall down her cheeks when little Charles’ cry couldn’t be heard
anymore.

“Silly baby,” She said.

“Who’s baby?” Bob Carter said knitting his eyebrows together in confussion.

“I’m babysitting it,”

Gaby absolutly hated lying, but she didn’t want them to take Aaron to jail or the
correctional facilty. He’d never forgive her!

“Well, if I ever run across Aar-..87, I’ll be sure to contact you.” She said shaking the cops
hands as they slowly backed out the door.

“Gaby, I hated firing you but everyone know’s what you did was wrong.” Dr. Franko
sticking his hands deep in his pockets.

“Lying about Molly, when in fact it was you.” He continued when Gaby swallowed deep
staring at Bob comforting Ginger crying.

“Thank you Gaby, please keep us posted, Aaron’s a dangerous man, he doesn’t deserve to
live after killing that couple in that car crash.” One cop said from the door way.

Gaby’s insides turned hard and her mind beat hard against her forehead..she hated every
minute of hearing those words: Car Crash.

“My poor baby is out there probably dead,” Ginger said with each word stabbing Gaby’s
insides into many little pieces.

Dr. Franko stared at the floor and found a pair of jeans picking them up and then glarred
at me when she nervously rubbed her palms together.

“Care to explain this to me?” He said examining the jeans.

“Those...those are mine actually, guys clothes are a lot cheaper to shop for now-a-days.”

Ginger stared deeply at the jeans and then grasped the jeans as Dr. Franko handed her
them.

“Bob..you bought this belt for Aaron’s eighteenth birthday.” Gaby swallowed hard.

“Oh you know dragons are so popular, my friend got it for me from Japan.” She choked
on every word.

“No-No, see I made this belt for Aaron, he loved dragons.” His father said running his
fingers over the thick dragon belt.

“Alright Gaby, I’m giving you one last time to give us the truth, is he or is he not here?”
Dr. Franko said when Gaby fell to the floor.

Chapter 7 (Part 2)
“Alright I can’t take this bull sh*t anymore,” Aaron said walking into the living room
with baby Charles on his shoulder.

“Your...your alive..” Bob stuttered reaching out for his son as Aaron slowly backed away.

“Don’t touch me,” Aaron said sitting on the recliner.

“Alright listen Aaron you have two options...” Dr. Franko started.

“And what are they?”

“One prison for the car crash and death of Mr. and Mrs. Clouse or the correctional facilty
for up to three years.”

“No none!” Aaron said rocking Charles.

“Then we’ll have to choose one for you,” Bob said.

“Look I’m a father now and I can’t leave Gaby here again, Dad and Ginger I didn’t mean
to for the accident with Nick and Gaby bless-her-soul-Gaby, she helped me when no else
did.” Aaron said with tears falling long and hard down his cheeks.

“And I leave Gaby here with my son, I’d be a mess worse then I was with Nick. I’ve been
in this alone and I don’t wanna end my life alone.” Aaron said when Gaby slowly woke
up and rubbed her eyes.

“Please Dr. Franko what we did was wrong, but no one is perfect, nor is someone
completly crazy. The only crazy I am is crazy in love with Gaby.” Aaron said handing
Charles to Gaby.

Ginger and Bob wiped the tears from their eyes as they watched Aaron carefully.

“Well that was a lovely speech Aaron but you really screwed up,” Dr. Franko said coldly.

“I know, I wanna make it right today, I understand I’ve done a lot of wrong in my life but
when I’m with Gaby and Charles my whole is so much better.” Aaron said holding on to
Gaby’s shoulder.

“We can’t leave Gaby with a baby and by herself in this town its not right,” Bob said
when Dr. Franko stared at him.

“I don’t want my step son in a correctional facilty nor a prison, please Dr. Franko.”

“Alright, but if you screw up, your gone.”

“I understand sir,” Aaron said.

Aaron’s parents wrapped him in a hug and got to see baby Charles while Dr. Franko and
the two cops left.

Little did they know Dr. Franko met his wife through a correctional facilty, just like Gaby
and Aaron, their lives were completely the same but the only difference was Aaron was
going to be with the one he loved forever.

“Gaby?” Aaron said amoung his parents babble with baby Charles.

“Yes Aaron,” She said holding his hands close to her stomach,

“Will you...” He started then got down on one knee and ran his hands along her waist.

“Will you Gabrielle Ann be my wife?” He said as tears fell like thunder from her face
and she nodded.

“Yes! Yes I will!” She said when he got back up wrapping her in a big hug and bent
down and kissed her lips passionatly.

“I’ve been wanting to ask you that for...forever!” He said nervously when she wiped her
tears away on his bare chest.

“Sorry it wasn’t a romantic proposal but...” She pushed her finger on his lips.

“It didn’t have to be...because when I look in your eyes I’m already some place
heavenly!” She said feeling a single tear fall on top of her cheek.

Chapter 8 (Part 1):
(Sorry I’ve been kinda slow at updating, I’ve been so busy with Christmas coming up and
all. Hopefully you guys don’t cry ;) or be disappointed in me...)

Today was Gaby and Aaron’s wedding day and she couldn’t believe how fast her life had
made a U-turn all for the better...or so she thought.

She stood in the corner of the church fiddling with her cross necklace on her chest, she
stared out of the stained glass window watching the people flood into the building.

Her dress glowed, it was a short white dress with yellow daisies all over it.

“Gaby,” Ginger said when Bob reached out for her hand when tears fell from her eyes.

“Don’t worry, you look fine.” Bob said when she gently placed her hand inside his and
slowly began to walk down the isle.

Dr. Franko helped little Charles being he was the little ring bearer.

Gaby eyes carefully looked up with Aaron’s eyes scanning over her, she gently smiled
taking in a deep breath.

Aaron looked incredibly handsome with his loose fitting black tuxedo and his hair fell
into his face.

When she finally met Aaron he gingerly took her hands and held them close to his waist.

“I love you,” He whispered.

“I love you too,” She whispered back.

“We come together today in holy matrimony...” The priest started reading from his bible.

Gaby and Aaron blanked everything out and exchanged their vows.

Pretty soon everything was over before they knew it and Gaby was now Gabrielle Ann
Carter, something most girls can only dream about.

Several days later:

Gaby sat on the couch snuggled underneath Aaron’s arm, they slowly went through her
wedding album recalling every moment as if it was just yesterday.

“Gaby...” He started with fear coming into his eyes.

“Yes baby,” She said bringing her face up to his when she wondered what was up.

“I have to tell you something, even though its going to hurt.”

Her eyes shifted then felt tears linger in her eyelids not wanting to fall.

“Is there someone else?” She said with her voice cracking on each word when he just
shook his head.

“No,” He said closing the album and set it on the coffee table.

“Please don’t hurt me, I don’t want hurt anymore.” She said as the tears fell hard on her
cheeks hoping Charles would cry anytime soon to take her away from the cold look in his
eyes.

“What is it?”

“Well....” He sighed deeply then cupped her face in his hand.

She felt like some one had stabbed her through the heart when he said the words...Move!

“I wanna buy you and Charles a house, this town has too many bad memories.”

“Move?”

“I can’t bare to stay here anymore, when I drive home from the grocery store, I see
headlights and they haunt me.”

“Was I just a ‘bad memory’ to you?” She said a little angered.

“You we’re the only thing keeping me sane in this town,”

“I’ve never been good at moving and now that I have Charles...” She spat out when
Aaron brought his finger to her lips.

“I understand,” He said.

“No you don’t I’m afraid! A new house would be nice Aaron but I don’t have any money,
food stamps and sometimes the clothes on my back are all I have. I gave it all to be with
you and in truth it was worth it every penny.” She said smiling when Aaron felt like he’d
been kissed on the lips.

“Please Gaby let me at least do this for you and for my son, I wanna set things right.”

“At least set it right here and then you’ve got a deal,” She said putting her hand on his
heart he looked down at her hand.

“I’m trying to recover from Nick, its still so hard on me, sometimes I feel like I’m locked
in this world and in this alone .”

“I won’t let you be alone, because with me is where you belong.” She leaned in and
planted a soft kiss on his lips with butterflies dancing in ecstasy in his stomach.

Quickly she pulled away and rested her hand on his knee and then looked deep in his
eyes.

“When shall I pack?” She asked when his face lit up.

Chapter 9 (Part 1)

“Can I look yet?” Gaby asked as Aaron kept one hand over her eyes and the other at her waist.

“No peaking,” He said softly.

“I’m not,” she whispered back.

“Careful of the steps,” He lead her up three short steps.

“Okay slowly open your eyes,” Gaby finally opened her eyes after what seemed to last forever.

“Oh my ga-” She said covering her mouth with her hands when Aaron plopped his hands tightly
around her waist.

Before her eyes was a beautiful beach house that was right on the beach, he pushed open the door as
she squealed.

“I’m guessing you don’t want it?” He teased.

“Hmm-mmm,” She said putting her hand inside his.

“Wait, I do want it.” She said when Aaron arched an eyebrow.

“That’s good, oh follow me.” He led her down the hall to a small room with a large
picture of them on the wall and on the floor lay a long red rug.

“What’s so special about this room? There’s no radio or music or anything, just a big
window and a picture of us...”

Aaron knitted his eyes in confusion at Gaby when she smiled at the look on his face.

“My special place, I sure hope you didn’t forget?”

Gaby’s jaw dropped when she closed her eyes as that scene played over and over again in
her head.

“I remember, but please do remind me again?” She said as Baby Charles crawled to her
feet when she bent down smiling picking him up and planted kisses all over his little face.

“It was something like that,” Aaron said, Gaby just smiled snuggling underneath Aaron’s
arm.

“I don’t know what say,”

“You say it best when you don’t say anything at all, and you let me listen to your heart.
Look up!”
There was peel on stars all over the wall, Gaby giggled softly when Aaron leaned in to
kiss her juicy pink lips.

Later that evening Aaron took Gaby to a fancy restaurant at the Bohemian Garden, the
place was encredibly beautiful looked like something from early 1920’s.

“So I was thinking later tonight I could take you back to our house while my parents
watch Charles for the weekend and we have the house to ourselves.” Aaron said.

“I hope they don’t mind, I mean he’s handfull if you couldn’t tell.”

“Its not a problem, my step mom loves children.”

“Hi are you guys ready to order?”

“Yeah,” Aaron said as Gaby slowly looked up staring at the waiter then quickly looked
down at her silverware.

It was her ex that use to beat her and was the guy that she got her first aborition ever...his
name was Raul.

“Gaby?” The waiter said as Gaby tapped her foot repeated on the floor.

“We will take a number 8 and number 5,” Aaron said smiling at Gaby.

“I’m sorry I left you,” He said as Gaby tossed her napkin on the table and pushed her
menu into Raul’s stomach and ran out of the building with tears falling hard on her face.

“GABY!” Aaron yelled chasing after her while Gaby breathed heavily sitting on a bench
outside the restaurant when tears continue to fall down her face.....

Chapter 9: (Part 2)

Gaby sat on the bench hugging her knee’s rocking back and forth as Aaron approached
her sitting down next to her.

“Gaby?” He said softly when she turned to him wrapping him tightly in her arms.

“Don’t ever let me go, I’m afraid!” She said with heavy tears falling on top of his shirt.

“I won’t, I promise you, I’ll never let anyone hurt you.” He said kissing her wet cheek.

“Are you going to pay for that meal sir?” The waiter said walking in front of Aaron and
Gaby.

“Excuse me?” Aaron said agitated.

“I do believe when you make an order you pay for it?” He said smiling at Gaby.

Aaron slowly dropped Gaby grabbing Raul by the shoulders and pinned him into the
heavy brick wall next to the restaurant and stared him down.

“You are one sick son of b*tch, you know that?” Aaron yelled.

“Sir there’s quite a misunderstanding I just asked for you to so kindly pay for the food
you ordered.”

“No, you hurt my wife and now your going to pay.”

"Sir I have no idea as to what your speaking of..."

Aaron started punching Raul in the face as Raul started coughing up blood then kicked
him while Raul fell to the sidewalk falling into the fetal position.

“Aaron?” Gaby started.

“Not now baby!” Aaron yelled kicking up the rocks into his face yelling curse words at
him.

“Aaron please,” Gaby pushed Aaron away from Raul when Aaron stared into her watery
eyes.

“What Gaby?” He yelled when she ran her hands slowly down his chest.

“What Gaby?” He yelled even louder when she wrapped him in a tight hug putting her
wedding ring in his front pocket.

“I don’t understand?” Aaron said when she walked back to the car and Aaron glanced
ahead and saw flashing red and blue lights.

“God must really hate me....” He mumbled to himself.

“Gaby!” Aaron yelled she didn’t even stop. “Please stop!”

She turned around to face him, she just shook her head and walked on.

“Sir put your hands on top of your head?” A police officer said pointing a taser gun at his
abdomen

“Please that’s my wife over there, you gotta understand? Please?” Aaron yelled with tears
and made a dash for Gaby as he was shot in the stomach.

He let out a loud scream in agony as Gaby turned around with tears in her eyes and she
lowered her head.

Chapter 9 (Part 3)

Gaby started up the car and headed back home with tears fogging her vision.

“So stupid...stupid.” She mumbled.

She stoped at the stop light and wiped her tears on her sleave and headed out towards
Aaron’s parents house.

“I can’t belive I’m so stupid, I hate him, no I don’t I still love him, I hate him seeing him
hurt.” She yelled when she saw headlights in her blindspot.

She ignored it and continued to drive as her car made a flipped over and she hit her head
on the steering wheel knocking her unconscious.

Blood dripped from the sides of her face as the broken glass was jabbed into her clean
flesh.

Then the car finally stopped into a ditch and laid upside down for what seemed like
endless hours.

30 minutes later the ambulance arrived and laid Gaby on a stretcher and placed her in the
back of the ambulance....

Meanwhile Aaron sat in a cold musty prison cell watching the small tv played in the
officers office.

“Today at the top of the hour we have news on a recent crash on 85 avenue and it
involved a young woman whom paramedics fear is dead....if anyone has information on
the indenty of this woman or the lisence plate please call 1-800-Ms-Jane-doe,” A
newscaster said when Aaron’s thoughts thought the absoute the worst. “Thanks Tahnee,
now pay attension to this liscence plate, AGC 169 (AARON GABY CARTER :), if you have any information on the this woman please give us a call any tips will help.” The bald news reporter said as the officer turned off the tv laughing to himself.

"Damn drunk drivers!" He laughed and walked around looking in at all the cells.

Aaron let the tears fall from his eyes when a black officer walked over to his cell
unlocking it.

“You have one phone you can make, then its bed,” He said.

“Okay thanks,” Aaron said slowly when the black officer led him to the phone booth.

“Just one call?”

“Yeah,”

Aaron thought long and hard thinking if he made the right call he’d be out of here but if
he screwed around and turns out it wasn’t Gaby it was a waste of his time.

He pressed 1 first then shook his head.

“You really think you could identify that woman, yeah right son, that woman is dead.”

“Please!” Aaron raised his voice and dialed his parents cell number.

“Hello?” His step mom said with tears.

“Ginger?”

“Aaron?”

“Where are you?”

“I’m in 78 avenue prison, listen its a long a story, have you heard from Gaby?”

“We’re on are way to go see her now?”

“Ginger, I need a favor, I need you to bail me out, I saw this accident on tv and I thought
of Gaby. Please I need you to help me....” He said as the black guy pressed the end
button.

“Times up pal...”

“Please sir, that’s my mom.”

“Sure it is and I'm Shaq! Bed time!”

Aaron cried himself all the way to his cell and in his sleep.

Chapter 10

“Good morning baby,” Gaby said sweetly kissing his earlobe as Aaron swat her away.

“Not now Gaby,” Aaron moaned swatting her away.

“I made you pancakes and some bacon and an egg, your favorite.” She leaned in to kiss
him more.

“Gaby just stay here with me and promise you won’t ever leave me,”

“I promise, come on your foods going to get cold.”

“Gaby just let me hold you in my arms once more...” Aaron said slowly opening his eyes
and saw a pillow wrapped in his arms.

“Damnit!” He yelled throughing the pillow at the wall.

“Why? Why Me?”

“Aaron?” A soft voice said from behind me when he gently turned around to find his step
mom and dad standing there.

“We bailed you out,” Bob said.

“I don’t care, what about Gaby? Is she alright? Was she in the crash? How’s Charles?
Why am I here?” Aaron asked many questions.

“One question at a time baby,” Ginger said rocking Charles as a guard came in freeing
him from his handcuffs as Aaron ran over to his family greeting them with a big hug.

“Please tell me is Gaby okay?” Aaron asked staring at them with wondering eyes.

Ginger shook her head.

“Wait is she dead?”

Ginger looked down at the ground.

“I think you need to be the first thing she see’s when she wakes up,” Bob said sternly.

“Dad I can’t, I’m afraid, what’s going on?”

“Ginger and I talked it over last night and we think its best if you come with us to the
hospital.”

“Dad...give this Gaby, I can’t.” Aaron reached in his front pocket and handed the ring to
his dad.

Tears fell from Ginger’s eyes when she looked down at Charles.

“I don’t understand?” Ginger started.

“What?” Aaron questioned.

“Why your being so selfish?” She said walking out of the prison with Bob slowly trailing
behind.

That word hurt Aaron deep down and Aaron hated every bit of being called Selfish!
Maybe he was and just didn’t admit it.

Aaron sat in the back seat holding Charles and saw one thing...Gaby.

“I think you’ll need this,” Bob said closing the driver side door when Aaron looked in his
hand seeing the ring.

“Thanks,”

“Aaron we are here for you no matter what happens today,”

“Thank you dad and Ginger, I really appreiciate it.” He said.

When they arrived at the hospital Aaron was led to Gaby’s room, he stood outside the
window for a minute putting his hand on the window.

“Go on,” Bob said putting his muscular hand on Aaron’s shoulder.

Aaron walked in the room and took a seat next to Gaby with tears falling hard on his
cheeks when he looked at Gaby’s grey body.

She was in critical condition and Aaron could hardly reconize her, his insides went hard
and he let the tears fall on his face.

He slowly slipped the ring on her finger and leaned in to kiss her hand that was
connected to millions of wires.

“Aaron?” Gaby mumbled when Aaron jumped back.

“Gaby?”

“Aaron!” She said crying shaking her head.

“Are you crying?”

“Baby I was afraid,”

“I’m sorry,” She said in less then a whisper. “I’m sorry,” She said over and over again.

“Its not your fault, I was so tired of you hurting and I care about you Gabrielle.”

Gaby weakly smiled kissing his hand.

“Thank you for my ring back,”

“Your welcome,”

“How much longer are you in here?”

“A lot,”

“No Gaby, when can you come home to me?”

“I can’t,”

“Why?”

“Because....”

“Because why Gaby?” Aaron said agitated.

“Because I’m slowly dying,”

The words hit him hard in the chest when he felt his whole body slowly feel stone cold.

“No you can’t, what about me? What about Charles?”

“Its not your fault,” She closed her eyes when Aaron felt his fingernails dig in the sheets.

“Don’t close your eyes damnit!” He yelled gently picking up a stringent to intoxicate
him.

“I love you,”

“Gaby I’m not going to say goodbye, I’m not, I love you more.”

“Kiss me,” Aaron leaned in and kissed her lips then plunged the needle in his arm as he
fell to the floor staring at the ceiling.

Gaby closed her eyes as her sweet soul went to heaven.

“Take me back! Take me back GOD DAMNIT!!!!!” He yelled when his eyes rolled back
in his head and went into a peaceful sleep. :(

(THAT’S NOT THE END...GOSH GUYS!!! THERE’S STILL MORE!!!! Fasten them
seatbelts for a ending you’ll never forget.)

Chapter 11:

When Aaron woke up he saw the glare of a disco ball burn in his eyes, he rubbed his eyes
and noticed a group of people dancing to his left and to his right was a bar and people
drinking.

“Yo Nick, I made you your special today!” The bartendar said when Aaron saw his
brother drinking out of a beer bottle.

‘What The F**k?’ Aaron thought. ‘Heaven sure looks like a night club’ he thought.

He moaned loudly as a beautiful girl walked up to him and extending a hand.

“Where am I?” Aaron asked looking down at his clothes, he was wearing a pair of white
border shorts with a red tshirt that red: 4ever Rebel!

“Gosh cowboy, lay off the Jack Daniels, and maybe next time you won’t fly off the bull
next time.” She teased. (those Riding bulls they have at bars and such!)

Aaron stared deep in her eyes as she smiled.

“Don’t worry I don’t bite, at least not too hard.”

Aaron smiled and put his hand in hers and she winked at him helping him up.

“Oh by the way cowboy if you ever wanna call me, the name’s Gabrielle Smith, Gaby for
short.” She said smiling.
