Thoughts to the Dungy family, especially at this time of year.

(Tampa, FL) -- The 18-year-old son of Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy, was found dead early this morning in his suburban Tampa apartment. Police were called to James Dungy's home in Lutz by his girlfriend overnight, where they unsuccessfully administered CPR. He was transported to University Community Hospital, but was declared dead at 1:32 a.m. eastern time. No cause of death has been announced, but an autopsy by the Hillsborough County Medical Examiners office is pending. There were no signs of foul play. Tony Dungy has left the Colts to be with his family in Tampa. The elder Dungy was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers prior to taking over in Indianapolis.
