i dont see a problem with establishing a community and trading videos.

things cost money, and the truth is that she could share a video for free but then you all would post links to it on message boards and to your friends and that would kill her bandwidth.

ok so let's say that for some freak reason 3000 people join with 2-4 dollar a month bandwidth charge.

well I have a 100 gig transfer and if I have just ONE file just ONE movie at about 50 megs and let's say 1500 people download it, well gee that’s 750 gigs

AND I said 1500 and not 3000 people...

AND that’s just one 50 meg file.

You tell me what decent affordable host will allow 10,000 gig transfer and we shall be friends.

Anyways like I was saying the transfers on domains can get expensive and I would know this because I happen to be a web designer.

I highly doubt 3000 people would join anyways, and I’m not sure why you need to stress how you don’t have a lot of money and you pay for your 4 domains. Go You?

You know some hosts charge 1 dollar per meg that goes over the bandwidth and that could mean being charged 650 dollars because 1500 people downloaded a video.

Yes bandwidth isnt.. SOOO MUCH and thats how come sites like mugglenet have to pay 60,000 USD a year to keep running. *rolls eyes

AND no im sure aaron carter fan sites wont cost 60,000 a year to run nor will they have 1 million+ hits a month but the cost is still there and even 5,000 a year is a bit high for a fansite.

and please keep in mind that her site or anyone else's who does the same has video up and not just photos and information.
(i mention this because poor mugglenet MAINLY has photos and information, and not too many videos.)

i just wanted to add that, im not here to argue.. im just saying there's always another side and it should be explored. I understand the view of the people who are against it, and I fully respect it.
