New Releases: Aaron Carter, Aqualung, Babyshambles, Pink Floyd, Breaking Laces
01.13.2006 7:33 PM EST

Also due Tuesday are reissues by Nina Simone and a Doctors Without Borders benefit set.

Aftershocks: Aaron Carter's been off the music radar since his 2002 album Another Earthquake!, living the actor's life instead with flicks like "Popstar" and "Fat Albert." While Carter can get some more mileage out of his "teen idol" moniker — he just turned 19 — his record label's giving him vintage status with Come Get It: The Very Best of Aaron Carter. If you already have 2003's Most Requested Hits, you might want to put away your purse: This comp has virtually the same track list, but with three fewer tunes. Ones that didn't appear on Most Requested but crop up here are "A.C.'s Alien Nation," "My Internet Girl" and "Bounce."

Yeah, no kidding.

you'd think they'd know that he turned 18, not 19, and that he's not with Jive anymore, but it's MTV so yeah...

I was pretty surprised they even mentioned this album, I didn't think it would get any press!

FYI It's also featured as a new release on the I Tunes Music Store... I was totally not expecting to see it there

haha, that's a cute quote.. I wrote a review to the people who made Open Waterand said all the actors we're cut from the same piece of ham and said the only part that had me interested was the part where they air the credits at the end...never heard back from them.. :D

Since it is JIVE that is releasing the cd it is a minor mistake on MTV's part.
