Britney Spears is in "deep talks" to sign a dream Broadway deal.
Britney Spears may sign a dream deal.
According to Access Hollywood reports, Britney Spears is in serious negotiations to make her Broadway debut in the current revival of "Sweet Charity."
Britney Spears was spotted as recently as last night attending a performance of the hit Broadway musical.
If this becomes true, Britney Spears would replace Emmy Award winner Christina Applegate, 33, in the title role of dancer Charity.
Sweet Charity, stars Christina Applegate as Charity and Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare as Oscar. The musical is based on an original screenplay by Federico Fellini and is directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie (Chicago).
And guess who may be joining Britney Spears on stage? Kevin Federline!
"He'd be a dancer in the show," a source tells Access Hollywood as quoted by NBC.
"The producers really want Britney and will do anything to make this happen."
A rep for Britney Spears declined to comment.
