LOUISIANA NATIVE AND GRAMMY AWARD-WINNING RECORDING ARTIST BRITNEY SPEARS TO APPEAR ON ABC'S GOOD MORNING AMERICA WHEN THE MORNING PROGRAM REPORTS FROM NEW ORLEANS TO HELP CELEBRATE MARDI GRAS
ABC's Good Morning America is headed to New Orleans to report on the city's annual Mardi Gras celebration. On Tuesday, February 28, Britney Spears will join GMA as the morning program reports live from New Orleans on the city's Mardi Gras celebrations as well as how the city is coping after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. For the broadcast, Spears will return to her home state, bringing with her smiles and surprises for a group of very deserving young residents. Spears will also appear live on GMA Tuesday morning.
"I am honored to be a part of the Mardi Gras celebration in New Orleans this year," said Britney Spears. "It is so important for this amazing city to continue its annual traditions and I am really looking forward to being involved."
