i'd post the magazine cover, but i figured that i'm doing you all a favor by NOT having you look at her big ugly face.
anyway... no one really knows what she said about Britney. It could be something really nice, or it could be something really nasty... either way, this just further proves that Christina is less interesting without the existence of Britney.

The whole interview was repetitive and boring. All they did was recycle old news and made it into a big unimportant story.
Good or bad there was absolutely no reason to bring up Britney... again. ;)

I'm sure Christina was asked about Britney and didn't just bring her up outta the blue.
Maybe Britney shouldn't mention any of her peers either (i.e. Madonna, Tina Turner).

Lol, are you serious?
Britney is a sweetheart who always has nice things to say about everyone, even those who badmouth her. Christina........is not.
Anyway, Britney  is soooo sweet. I love the fact that unlike a lot of her peers, she's secure enough with herself to be positive and won't tear someone else down to build herself up. These other girls need to take note!

Yes, I'm serious. I'm not going to get into it with you or anyone else; it's been beaten to death.
Britney does seem like a sweetheart, I agree. But I also think Christina is nice; she just speaks how she feels and that makes her seem like a bitch.

"Aged 12, she found her escape route via a successful audition for Disney's Florida-based Mickey Mouse Club TV show, in which she was famously starred alongside Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. By the age of 16, she'd landed a major-label record deal; at 19, she released her debut album, Christina Aguilera, and debut single Genie In A Bottle, a Number One smash.
Of course, her old friend Britney arrived around the same time, thus marking the start of a classic pop feud, which is still rumbling on to this day, if the papers are to be believed. Except they're not, insists Christina, "Britney and I laugh about it," she says. A couple of years back when the supposed *beep*ing reached an ape, Christina wrote a letter to Britney. "It said, 'We've got to stick together. People will always put us against each other but we have to stay strong and remember our background.'" Recently, a US newspaper reported that Christina said Britney had "let herself go" while pregnant. "It's sick," sighs Christina. "It's lies. But I have to look at the positive, not the negative. I'm making my record, she's being a mom - we're both in great places. We're really happy for each other." Although no longer best friends (neither attended each other's wedding), they are still in touch. Christina sent a basket of baby goodies to Britney after she gave birth to son Sean Preston, while Britney bought Christina a wedding gift of champagne glasses and a crystal vase."
It's safe to say her bashing britney days are over (hopefully). I'm pretty sure the interviewer started by asking that she clarify the rumors. I think it's nice that they sent each other gifts, if only they could just pick up the phone and say "what's up" lol.

I've gotten to the point that I'm 100% sure that there is only 1 person who comes on this forum anymore, and you use about 4 different screen names. Because this place was NEVER as insane as it is now, and the fans weren't retarded school children.

I'd be jealous too if I busted my ass to sound good live and put on a great vocal show for my fans, and somebody else's fans are pleased as long as the reverb machine isn't on the blink.
I wouldn't, though, be jealous if I had 3 of the most prestigious musical awards and a great, devoted fanbase. Whereas some other people have 1 of them, and it's just for the fact that somebody else picked a decent beat.

Christina hates Britney and started the entire feud. why the hell else would she talk so much s**t in her Blender interview?
She started the feud? The Feud began as SOON as they both had albums out.
Did you even read the BLENDER interview? What did she say about Britney that was so untrue? Almost everything Christina has EVER said about ANYTHING has come from a place of integrity, whether or not you agree with it or not.
I also find it so self-righteous and pathetic that some of you think Aguilera is such a terrible person for stating TRUE statements about your favorite songstress 3 YEARS AGO, yet you think others should be "mature" and "move on" from things that Britney does, which are much bigger and worse within DAYS.
I mean, the woman put her kid's life at risk, and 2 days later here you guys are like "Move on, the kid's okay" yet your STILL going on about 1 accurate statement Christina said in 2003...AND you have the nuts to call Aguilera fans out? Or say that Aguilera needs medication? And call Aguilera jealous?
It really says alot about the integrity of a person when they care more about their favorite singers image, and some imaginary feud, than the well-being of a child. "Let's brush the Sean Preston story as fast as possible, we must defend Britney's reputation!!!...but let's milk this Blender story as much as possible, it's FAR more important"
Remember she came out first from the pack and is still leading them even though she hasn't put out a studio album in almost 3 years.:sunny:
Err...Christina had "Reflection" out an entire year before people ever knew who Britney was.
The reaction to Reflection: Who is this girl, she has an amazing voice!
And it's pretty much been the same for about 8 years now.
The reaction to Baby One More Time: Good song, but this girl can't sing. And 16 year olds shouldn't be wearing this.
And the only reason people remember Britney's name now is because she keeps herself in the tabloids. Nobody even cares about her music right now. She's nothing but Paris Hilton with an actual career.
Go to any forum related to Britney and you'll see little to no bashing of other artists. Especially when it comes to Christina because well nobody cares.
Probably because they really can't SAY anything about her. She doesn't really do anything stupid, she's never broken any sort of law, she's a great singer, and people generally like her, if they aren't in general competition with her. Even those who criticize her (and aren't completely crazy) always have to start with or recover with "She's a great singer..."
It's like I said, and I thank you for proving my point. This forum (as of late) is the only completely deranged Britney Forum.
so under that theory, shouldn't Britney be the one who's jealous, oh smart one?
NO! Neither should be jealous of the other. They aren't alike at all, and the whole feud thing is pointless. Britney's an entertainer, Christina is a vocalist. Christina feuding with Mariah or Beyonce? Sure. Britney Feuding with Madonna or Jessica Simpson, yeah. The only reason the feud thing has been around since 1999 is because they both came out at the same time, and were basically the same age, and were on a show together.

Actually 'Reflection' is on her debut album so all of her fans know it and it was for the 'Mulan' movie so others know it as well. It obviously didn't do too well, but it wasn't a real music video, it was just her sitting and singing while showing scenes from the movie (she didn't really look good either).
I'm a Xtina fan but I'm not one that defends her Blender comments, I thought it was totally childish of her whether it was the truth or not. She was in her 'bitchy era' but now she seems so happy and is ready to put all the focus on the music and hopefully won't concern herself with others.
And unfortunately she WAS seen as the clone and the wannabe but she has clearly shaken that off and the public now sees them as equal popstars even if one might get more exposure than the other.
Some of y'all need to get over it, X and B are back on good terms so Just enjoy the one you want. I'm happy that I'm getting new X music soon and hopefully some B music by the end of the year.

Wow...you're completely deluded if you think that, lol. It's one of her most popular songs ever, and it was released before anybody really ever knew who she was. THAT shows talent and staying power.
Not to mention songs like 'I Turn To You' which were recorded several times before Christina touched them now being defined as a "Christina Song". Everytime Britney remakes a song, the undeluded beings of the earth cringe.
Britney didn't really get big until she stripped down for Rollingstone. Sure, her album was doing pretty well at the time, but it was that controversy that made people give a damn.
you're an idiot. there is a fine line between being honest and being a stupid f**kin c*nt, and after her interview with Blender, Christina proved herself to be the ladder.

Wait...Christina's a ladder? I always saw her as more a foot-stool. Hmm...
Obviously, you have a very sweet opinion of a "friend". Somebody who doesn't speak out of line about their friends, even if it is the truth. I get it but I don't swing that way. If Christina really thought there were some underhanded things done before the show, whether Britney was her friend or not, why is it wrong to say it?
Sometimes keeping quiet is NOT the right thing to do. I'd love to hear Britney go out and bash those who insult her. You see it as her being a nice person, a sweet person, or whatever...maybe she doesn't say anything because she knows they're right? Maybe she just isn't smart enough to come up with a rebutal that makes any sense? I doubt it, but if you can assume, so can I.
Anyways, as I said...whether what Christina said in BLENDER was right or wrong, it's not as bad as driving with your baby in your lap and then blaming others for it. And if you fail to see it, then it only proves that you have no soul.

Seriously are you that dense? Britney said that she made a mistake but the paparazzi were on her tail. Anyway, she said she made a mistake so get over it. I bet you when you were a little toddler that you're parents took you outta your child seat and placed you on their laps in the front of the car. I've seen people do it all the time (while driving safely) and that's what Britney did. It's not like any cars were around her and she was actually going lower than the speeding limit. So before you make other people think that she was driving recklessly she wasn't doing anything of that sort.

You're insane. Who the writes that much? Oh and darling it's a lot not a lot. Learn how to freaking spell. Maybe you were so riled up you couldn't even spell a four letter word.
Funny that you should mention spelling. You're the Queen of all things English, right?
Look below!
Biography:
i like to dance, sing and act
Missing a comma in there, don't you think? Maybe even a capital letter!
And let's not forget the irony of this following statement:
You're insane. Who the writes that much? Oh and darling it's a lot not a lot.
Doesn't make much sense, does it? Maybe you were implying that the correct function of "a lot" is only attainable by bolding it? Naw. You couldn't be that incompetent. Maybe this is your reason:
You clearly wrote the word down wrong because you were so fumed that you couldn't even spell a simple word right. It's two words my friend. Go take a vacation because clearly
you're the one who can't stop fueling the fire.
But then again, it's two words, right? Not one. After all, "a lot" couldn't possibly be a word, could it? After all, "a" is an indefinite article used prior to a singular noun. Also a word. So that makes two words in total. Oh, and I think you forgot another comma in there.
Seriously are you that dense?
Shouldn't there be a comma after that transition?
So before you make other people think that she was driving recklessly she wasn't doing anything of that sort.
Oh, and while I'm here...
Hrm, I'd say driving with a baby in her lap is pretty reckless, don't you think?
^ Shallow, Shallow, Shallow.
A fragmented sentence and accompanied by unnecessary capital lettering. Maybe using those capital letters here prevented you from using it in other sentences? I understand. You have a "capital letter" quota to fill, and once you've completed it, you'd have to wait until the next quota cycle.
Britney didn't have a nose job. Where do people get this from? awfulplasticsurgery.com? All there photos are from different angles, and different side views.
Could it be? A spelling error from someone who talks smack about how everyone else needs to "learn how to spell"? I'm not surprised. You're a hypocrite, after all. Here’s another:
So now you think I'm talking about the tabloids? What an idiot. I was talking about my post that you just replied to idiot. I don't think everything I read is true. In face I know everything I read isn't true.:noway:
That's not all, there's more grammatical gobbledygook gravitating your way! BTW, that was alliteration.

So rather than replying to people about how they can't spell, maybe you should learn proper grammar and spelling. So get off everyone's back and stop being a damned armchair professor, because you lack the intelligence to do so.
You know, even despite the mispellings that other people have, it's not dififcult to understand what they meant to say. Of course, only people who don't have an argument or who lack the ability to properly form an argument against them are the same people who call them out on those grammatical errors. I'd understand your point if they were completely incoherent, but come on. You can't be that stupid not to understand them.

So Britney was the youngest artist ever to have a number 1 album and single at the same time, yet no one cared about her, until she stripped? That's just as bad as saying Christina is only successful because of Britney. Come on, even you know that's not true. Britney's impact on pop culture and success is undeniable, and just wearing little to no clothing doesn't achieve that. If that were true, every half naked singer would be on the levels of recognizability as Michael and Madonna.
Second, Britney doesn't respond to those who bash her because she knows it's not worth it. It's called being the bigger person, and knowing that people who don't even know you personally opinion's on you don't matter, because they have no real facts to base their opinions on. If someone who has never even met you, called you a disgusting whore, it's not even worthy of a response because it's unfounded, petty, and childish.
Finally, I don't recall anyone saying Britney driving with Sean in her lap was any better than Christina spreading her hate. I also do not see how it has anything to do with this interview, and yes, Christina's Blender interview is relevant to this thread since both are about her making comments about Britney.
You really need to get over your hatred towards's Britney's fans, and stop generalizing. It's not cute. You just keep proving me right with each post, and you don't even try to hide it. It's sad. Here's a tip, if you're trying to get your point across, come at the person you are arguing with like a mature adult, and don't talk down to them. If you're intelligent, it shouldn't be that hard.

lol even before the Rollingstone Cover Britney had already sold 2 million in the USA, and anoth 4 million worldwide. So frankly she didn't even have to take her clothes off (even though it was her choice and it was done classy) she would've still sold a lot of albums just off that one single alone. So no you're theory about Britney only stripping off to become popular is ludacris. Just like your useless post.

Funny that you should mention spelling. You're the Queen of all things English, right?
Look below!
Missing a comma in there, don't you think? Maybe even a capital letter!
And let's not forget the irony of this following statement:
Doesn't make much sense, does it? Maybe you were implying that the correct function of "a lot" is only attainable by bolding it? Naw. You couldn't be that incompetent. Maybe this is your reason:
But then again, it's two words, right? Not one. After all, "a lot" couldn't possibly be a word, could it? After all, "a" is an indefinite article used prior to a singular noun. Also a word. So that makes two words in total. Oh, and I think you forgot another comma in there.
Shouldn't there be a comma after that transition?
Oh, and while I'm here...
Hrm, I'd say driving with a baby in her lap is pretty reckless, don't you think?
A fragmented sentence and accompanied by unnecessary capital lettering. Maybe using those capital letters here prevented you from using it in other sentences? I understand. You have a "capital letter" quota to fill, and once you've completed it, you'd have to wait until the next quota cycle.
Could it be? A spelling error from someone who talks smack about how everyone else needs to "learn how to spell"? I'm not surprised. You're a hypocrite, after all. Here’s another:

ROFL! Apparently you have far to much time on your hand, but I appreciate the support, and I can't wait to see their witty retort.
1. You don't know me, and whether or not I was ever placed in a parent or others lap while driving is unknown to you or myself for that matter. And if, by chance I was, what does that have to do with me or the law thinking Britney shouldn't have? It's not like I'm holding Sean Accountable for his mother's actions.
And just because people do it all the time doesn't mean Britney shouldn't have. She accepted responsibility for her actions, but it seems you kids haven't accepted her responsibility. You're still making excuses "Well, I saw..." "Other people do it..." Obviously Britney doesn't think it was that normal an action if she made the effort to acknowledge it as a mistake. Now it's your turn.
People break laws every single day, the day you see me using that fact as an excuse for a singer I like doing the same thing is the day that I'll take a razor blade to my own throat. That is the epitome of "Jumping off the deep end". When your that obsessed and enthralled with a celebrity that you use the fact that OTHERS break the same law as well, it's time to be committed.
2. How do you know she was driving safely? For the sake of me liking Britney as a person, and thinking she is a credit to the music industry in some degree, I hope you're right. But what proof do you have? She said it? The picture doesn't appear to be taken at a high speed. Those can be easily answered as "She lied" and "The picture was taken with a composite filter for fast movement". Either way, though...it doesn't take away from the danger or the fact that it was a law, and she broke it.

All I care about in a singer is that the singer CAN ACTUALLY SING, and EVERYBODY KNOWS XTINA IS THE ONE WHO SINGS, the other just dances, moves her mouth and put her baby's life in danger, and some people like that, great, to each their own. We have only heard 10 second clips,so I am not mad at nothing. She's worked with greats for this album, and I know I wont be dissapointed. And like I said,Britney DOES NOT have the whole package. She lacks raw talent. She cant sing to save her life or her career for that matter. She's always laughed at when she "sings" live. Britney playing instruments, lmao. A complete package is in a large part subjective

To be honest, I don't give a rat's ass about "the whole package"- they're singers and the rest is just bonus material. Xtina and Brit cannot say the same
Dance: Brit>XTina>Yonka
Voice: Xtina>Yonka>Brit

Hi risky. Are you mad because Christina took 3 years to come up with something like Candyman and that other song?
Should be replied to with:
Hi risky. Are you mad because Britney came up with something like uninspired like Mona Lisa vocal's and a cover of "My Prerogative"?
lol like I said before my niece can write better lyrics than those.
Can your niece write better lyrics than Zoey 101, Mona Lisa, I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)? Yeah, I thought she could too.
Like it or not Britney does have the whole package. You don't have to have the strongest voice to be considered "good."
So, the fact that there are people that sing better than her... still makes her a complete package? Oh wait, let's see something here...
Britney is not the whole package. I know a couple of kids who can sing better than her. lol
Just change the names around and... WHAT? What are you saying? You're saying that Britney_rocks can't remain consistent with her argument? OMIGOSH! You don't say.
Let me ask you this: How is it that you lack the ability to see through your own blind fanaticism and realize that when you make a statement like that, no one will ever take you seriously? So... in other words, Britney doesn't have to be the best singer to be the whole package, but Beyonce has to be the best dancer for her to be one?

You're getting mad because there was one sentence that mentioned Britney, saying, "She needs Britney's plactic surgeon" in which no one responded to, so you chastize the entire Christina forum because of that? I appreciate your effort in trying to remain logical here, but you're going to have to work harder at it.
I wouldn't care if Britney_rocks is just a fan. It's the fact that she constantly blasts other people for doing the exact same thing she does. Now, you can't get mad at everyone else for doing what you do. If you're going to be so high and mighty about "Britney fans never do this", then she better start teaching by her actions.
Besides, calling someone out because they've made a typo has nothing to do with her being a fan. If she can only be a fan by knocking you down because you're bad at english -- well -- she better be fan-ing-tastic at it herself.

Maybe this would remind you?
Just look at all the threads over there that end up about bashing Britney. I mean even the threads that have to do nothing with her turns into a Britney bashing fest.
It's been a while since I've seen "a lot of threads" bashing Britney. And even the most recent one, it was one person in an entire thread that last clearly more than 5 pages. I wouldn't necessarily call that "Britney bashing". If anything, there's been more Mariah bashing.
If you're really concerned about something like that, maybe you should check out previous posts about how britney-rocks and her ilk also claimed that Christina had implants. If it's okay for that, than certainly it's not out of the question to think that some people believe that Britney had implants. Besides, by Control's comment alone, you can deduce that:
1) He believes Britney has implants
2) He believes Christina has implants
3) He thinks Britney has a better surgeon than Christina
I'd say that's a pretty big compliment, don't you think? =)
Now, if you think Britney doesn't have implants, maybe you'd find that offensive.
Lord this is what I'm talking about. Even if you're a fan of both you'll still be looked at as if you like one more than the other so therefore I have the right to look down on you. I mean what's up with that.
And no, this is not what I'm talking about. However you present yourself is what people will react to. I never said you were a raging lunatic, but perhaps you need to think about what you're going to say without jumping to conclusions in assuming I'm lumping you with other Britney fans. If that were the case, I would have equally said something to you in the same manner I do to other forum posters. Whether you're a Christina fan or Britney fan, I'd do the same thing. The only difference with you is that I think for some Britney fans, you give them way more credit than they deserve.

(I'm not talking about "class act" in a good way either) so don't start congradulating yourself like you've accomplished something. No wonder some of you like this artist. I can see where some of you accumulate this attitude from.

Both sides have mature fans. On the other hand, both sides have immature fans. Some Britney fans start at the Christina board and on the same token, some Christina fans start on the Britney board. That's it. Period. No need to argue anymore.

Actually, I don't. But of course you don't know that since you don't me personally. :) That's not very mature to judge someone you don't even know, don't you think? :)

I'm glad Britney doesn't give a rat's ass when it comes to people talking about her good or bad. I think it's low for some people to stoop to that level when they are bashing Britney. It's like hello you have something coming out soon and you need someone to talk about to gain attention for this new product. Can't you gain attention for your new product on your own terms? I guess not. I'm not just talking about Christina here, I'm talking about people in general.

I was talking about those artists who always mention Britney when they have something to promote. Yeah Christina was one of them, but she made that clear by herself already. lol.

Wow, lollipopheaven is supposedly unbiased and a fan of both, yet makes claims like a Britney fanatic would. "Mentions britney when she's promoting something". Can you prove that? She never did, she was asked about Britney. Now you're starting to sound like britney_rocks, which isn't a very good thing.

I see both sides to them so no I'm not like Britney_rocks or whatever lol. But I can see where she's coming from considering people do use Britney's name for their advantage. But whatever I love both of them and no one can tell me differently.

I don't care if you love them both. It doesn't matter. Hell, I used some of the songs on her last CD for my students' dance class choreography because I liked the songs too.
It's not about who you like or why you like them, it's just about remaining consistent with what you say and not being an ass when you make claims about someone else but back-peddle when you've been thrown back evidence to refute it.
I don't see how Christina used Britney's name to call attention on herself. Unless she's stated it several times without being asked and volunteers an opinion on what Britney's doing, like some sensationalistic report that draws attention to her because its controversial, then I'd see where you're coming from. But an interviewer that asks a question about Britney and Christina giving a boring answer hardly can contest as a popularity cry.
Maybe you can make a cause with Sugarbabes, or if Britney was in a situation like Paula Abdul was with the "sex idol" scandal that happened to break when that former cotestant "coincidentally" had an album out. But if there's any artist to blame for using Britney's name for attention, Christina would hardly be evidence for the case.

I'm a fan of both but, some people can clearly see that Christina does use Britney's name a lot even though she doesn't "like" that name being brought up around her. Plus she can always just ask them before hand not to ask her those questions she hates.

She HAS asked many times to not bring Britney up in past interviews when she had a feeling they were... but in this case for instance, I'm pretty sure them asking about that rumor from a while back didn't cross her mind...
From what I've seen, since the first day Brit and Xtina came out, Britney only got Christina questions once in a blue moon, however Christina has ALWAYS been asked about Brit, from her first interview to her latest....I'm not defending some of the comments she may have said in the past BUT I'm pretty sure after 6 yrs and 100's of interviews later, she gets annoyed and pist because anybody with half a brain should clearly see that they are DIFFERENT! (personally and professionally)
