What should they do differently? They've had 30-40 wins for most seasons since the early-1990's. Us Celtics fans are starting to get impatient. It looks like this year will be no different.

I think they should keep Pierce, Gomes, and Szczerbiak as starters. Pierce has performed very well lately, and I think Szczerbiak is a future all-star. They need to find a point guard as well as a Center.

J.J. Redick has a lot of potential, and he will be in the draft next year. I think they should get rid of their first round draft pick from Minnesota(I believe that's for this coming draft but I may be wrong), get rid of their first round for this year and next year, and trade all of those for the first pick of the draft. Then they could acquire Redick. He is a Duke player and many of their players haven't performed too well in the NBA, but taking risks is much better than continuing to win 30 games a year. I'm not sure which position he is though. They would also acquire a Center over the offseason, and I think they would be all set for next year.

I am a Miami Heat fan and watching that game Thursday I thought we were gonna lose, but we came back and won. Sorry, but the Celtics are a joke. They need a big improvement if they wanna challenge the Heat or Pistons.

I don't know if they're a joke, but they did lose to the Magic of all teams yesterday. On St. Patrick's Day, no less. I would like to think them competing with the Heat in Miami is a good sign, not a bad one.

There are times when one or two changes to a team makes them much better. The Clippers were a bad team last year. Between Cassell and Elton Brand now playing very well, they're having a very good season. The Kings were playing very lousy, pick up Ron Artest, and are now challenging for the playoffs. Sometimes one or two changes makes a huge difference to a team. I'm not sure if Redick will be the next Larry Bird, but I definitely think he has a lot of potential. I was watching parts of the Duke game today, and he looked great.

If they could beat all the bad teams, they would have a mediocre record. They lost to Orlando, Atlanta(twice), Charlotte, and Houston(when they were playing very lousy). They'd be only one game below .500 if they had won all of those games.
