(Aurora, CO) -- The panel set up to review the Aurora Police Department's use of force issued its first ruling Monday. The incident in question involved an officer who Tasered a man he thought was stealing from the salad bar at Chuck-E-Cheese in February last year. The man later proved he had paid for the salad. The panel said the officer was told, at the time, the man did not pay and he acted according to district policy. The City of Aurora has agreed to pay for legal fees and medical bills of the victim.
