FAKE OBIT
04-10-2006 -- Waterloo (CBS 2)
Waterloo police arrested Mary Jo Jensen and James Snyder after they reported Jensen's 17-year-old son had died. Friends of the family later spotted the teenager at a local restaurant and told police. Police say the obit scam was an attempt to get out of work. The couple needed to show their employer proof there was a death in the family. The couple is facing simple misdemeanor charges.

Okay, now most people, when they want to get out of work, will claim to be sick. These people...well, they don't have to claim it; they *are* sick. lol. Poor kid. Wonder if they told him about it before they did it or not. lol.
