This is the news on one of the wrestling news sites I go on, but I haven't checked WWE.com yet. Has this been confirmed? It's supposed to be for 1 year. I had heard that he would never sign with the company, so I am surprised to hear this.

Sabu has been quoted as saying that he would never wrestle for the WWE several years ago. He said something about the ridiculous gimmicks they give to many wrestlers, but maybe if they had an agreement not to change his gimmick, he would sign after all.

I heard that Francine was signed, but which other stars have been signed? They were in negotiations with Nu Jack as well. I guess Benoit will also be wrestling part-time, but his body is beaten up and he needs time off.

So, Benoit and Misterio won't be appearing on the show? I figure they would keep Misterio on Smackdown!, but I had heard that they're planning to put Benoit on the ECW show. He is getting older and is aching a bit, so I assume he would be better off as a part-time wrestler on ECW.

I think that they couldn't agree to a deal with most other cable stations that they were happy with, so they chose that station. USA would have been a better network for the show.

That was the only channel Vince could get right away but if the summer shows do well then the show should move to the USA network this fall.

Just because Benoit and Misterio are not part of the new ECW right now doesn't mean they won't be.

The wrestlers in ECW won't be part-time wrestlers.

The Pay-Per-View looks really good. I'm not looking forward to Tazz vs. Lawler, but the rest of the matches should be very good. They were talking about Malenko vs. Benoit, but I've heard that they've canceled that match. That would most likely be the best match of the card so I don't see why they would cancel it. Benoit is supposedly angry about that too.

If Orton vs. Angle is one of the scheduled matches(that does appear to be the case), that makes no sense whatsoever and could hurt the buyrate IMO.

I'm looking forward to Balls Mahoney vs. Masato Tanaka and FBI vs. Super Crazy/Tajiri. I do wish Psicosis or Benoit were involved. It should be a good Pay-Per-View.

The show got mixed reviews. I'm curious as to what happens tonight. I hope Van Dam gets to keep the belt as the ECW Champion, and they have a tournament for the new WWE Champion.
