Last month it was reported that the man that shot Proof dead, Mario Etheridge, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon and Discharging a firearm, but not with murder, plaeding self defence. However, I have read that Proof was shot three times in the head and chest. That is NOt the actions of self defence. Self defence would be shooting someone in the shoulder, leg or arm holding the weapon. Maybe even once in the head or chest if the shooter was a crap shot. For a person to shoot another human being in the head and chest three times is to want that person dead. There is no other explanation. It may not have been pre-meditated, but the fact still remains is that he ended that mans life, and not through an accidental act either. He held a gun, and discharged it numerous times into Proof's body. He murdered him. I think, not just because i am a fan of Proof's, but because i do not promote gun crimes or any other kind of violence, that Mario Etheridge should have been charged with manslaughter at the very least.
