Is anyone going to watch it? I generally hate movies with a passion, but I may try to see this one. Originally I had heard that it was a lot about Al Gore's life and what he has done for the environment, but the advertisements show it's more about global warming than anything else. It should be a good movie.

Do you also recognize Drudge's conservative rumor-mongering?

Are you claiming that global warming is propaganda?
There are a few problems with this movie. Gore can be a very boring speaker. If he narrates it, it can't be a good thing. Though I guess when he is compassionate about a subject(that would apply here), he can be very exciting so we can hope that's the case here. The previews have said nothing about how the non-human world is affected, so I hope there is a lot talk about that. Animals will be suffering much greater than humans, at least in the short-term. Also, there is no mention of the rain forests in the previews. If he can talk about the rain forest issue and how recycling would benefit the planet and the movie does well, I think recycling could become popular again.

I honestly didn't know anything about this until today. I was over on myspace and it's the featured profile on myspace ( http://www.myspace.com/aninconvenienttruth ) I'm actually fairly surprised by it. If the closest theater to me wasn't 35 miles away, I'd probably go see it.

I saw the movie recently. I think it's worth watching for those who don't know much about the subject, but for people who have studied the subject in detail, it's not too much new information. The meat industry has contributed greatly to the problem, so I am surprised he didn't mention it at all(he does mention it in his book though). Also, he didn't go into great detail as to what people should do about the problem. They could have added another 30 minutes to the movie. I didn't find him too boring either, so that surprised me. Overall, it was a good movie but I don't have plans on buying it when it comes out on DVD.
