Diva-licious Mariah is hitting the road later this summer, but in between shows she won’t be doing a lot of chatting (if you really need to speak to her, hit her up with a text).
"In my down time, the thing that requires the most discipline is not talking," Carey -- who needs a full day and a half off between concerts -- tells the Associated Press.
"Like, I wouldn’t be doing an interview. I wouldn’t be talking to anyone, I’d be writing notes, and sitting in a humidified room, sleeping." Carey is touring in a bus that will contain its own quarters for her dog, Jack, as well as TVs and the aforementioned humidifiers. In other words, she’s totally roughing it.
