Mariah just called in Toronto’s Flow 93.5 FM to promote her August 13th concert in that city. Here’s a couple of the things she mentioned:

* Working with Sean Paul felt like the right thing to do and she is quite excited about that since they haven’t collaborated before.

* She is working with Randy Jackson on arranging some of the older hits she’ll be performing. She pretty much knows already what old songs she is playing and the change of the arrangements for those songs will be subtle as she wants to still be able to perform for fans the songs they like.

* Any struggles she’s ever gone through, or any forces that may have challenged her, are just experiences that now allow her to have a testimony of that struggle which her fans can hear in songs like Make it Happen, Fly like a Bird, Hero, and One Sweet Day. Mariah says she knows it is important to include some of those in the setlist.

* About her fans Mariah said: "I love myself some them". She also said that fans are simply appreciative of her music and they are no different than her, just regular people.

* At the end Mariah invited her fans once again to come out to see her when she is on tour in Canada.
