Title Help

A while back I read a book. It was one of the best books I had bought in a long time. I let somone borrow it and then they moved before I got it back! While that alone makes me mad... whats worse is for the life of me I cant recall what the name of the book was so I could buy it again!!!!! Can anyone help me?

It was a book about Vampires. It wasnt by Ann Rice. This was based off of actual events. It came out less than 7 years ago. Hardcover was the version I bought and it was REALLY thick.
From what I recall from the book it was based off of actual events like I said. It was about a group of teenagers that followed another guy around. He was their sort of leader. He in the end convinces them all to kill his parents. I know this is sort of vague, but I dont really recall too much other information. If anyone could help me Id be sooo grateful! I also remember the cover was red and I THINK had somone in white on the front. If anyone could even help me find pictures of hardcover vampire/cult type books Id love ya for it!

Did you try going to Ann Rice's site? There is a list of all her books, and I read the summaries of the recent ones, but nothing sounded like what you describe.

Maybe if you see the titles it'll come back to you?

Thanks but thats the one thing Im sure of....that its NOT an Ann Rice book. Wich is whats making this so difficult! If it was that would at least narrowe things down a little bit...but instead Im forced to pull my hair out going through all sorts of books at book stores.
