new artist like Alicia Keys

hey all! i just had to share this new artist i found because she reminds me of Alicia Keys. Her name is Louise Setara and I found her on MySpace (www.myspace.com/louisesetara) when I was searching for new artists and I can't get enough of her! Her voice is powerful and soulful like Alicia's and this girl is only 18! She does a song called "Wrong Again" that I love and one called "You Can't Stop the River" that even reminds of the Queen of Soul herself, Aretha Franklin. Has anyone else heard of her or have any other information on her music or upcoming album?

I'd also like to hear about any similar artists that you might know of. I'm sick of all the radio stuff and just want to find new good musicians to listen to.

Hey - thanks for that information! I hadn't heard of her until I read this post. After visiting her Myspace page I was hooked!

What a great new artist you stumbled upon - wow! Her voice just seems to flow and it reminds me of a cross between Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson. I instantly wanted to find out more about this artist so I checked out her website. I didn't know Seal wrote "Can't Stop The River" and that "Love Me Still" was originally recorded by Chaka Khan. Two artists I simply love!
