Mr. Williams has an "illness" and is "courageously" seeking help for his problem.

Rush Limbaugh is just a "fat p****".

Robin Williams Seeks Help for Alcoholism

LOS ANGELES

Robin Williams is seeking treatment for alcoholism, publicist Mara Buxbaum said Wednesday.

The 55-year-old comedian had been sober for 20 years, Buxbaum said.

Williams "found himself drinking again and has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family," she said in a statement. "He looks forward to returning to work this fall to support his upcoming film releases."

Buxbaum declined to elaborate beyond the statement.

Williams stars in "Man of the Year," due in October, and voices an animated penguin in "Happy Feet," slated for release in November. His new film, "The Night Listener," is now in theaters.

He won an Oscar for his supporting role in 1997's "Good Will Hunting."

Robin Williams Refers to Rush Limbaugh as a Piece of Male Genitalia on ‘Tonight Show’

Posted by Noel Sheppard on July 1, 2006 - 12:05.

Fair warning for those that are sensitive to vulgarity, for this post will need to use some to properly quote the individual involved. Comedian Robin Williams was on the “Tonight Show” Thursday, and used the occasion to make fun of Rush Limbaugh’s recent incident. To be sensitive to those that might be offended, all obscene quotes will appear in the "Read More" section.

Now, to be fair, I am a huge Robin Williams fan, and believe him to be an equal opportunity offender. Even Rush, who has a fabulous sense of humor, likely would think this was funny.

With that in mind, host Jay Leno nicely set up Williams by asking for his opinion about the recent story concerning Limbaugh. Williams answered: “First of all, it seems a little redundant for him to take . You know, the fact that he takes it he gets taller. (audience laughter)”

Williams continued: “I mean, why do you need ? It’s a hard thing when he’s a big pr—ck already. (huge audience applause)”

Next, Williams moved on to more drug references: “Where was he staying in the Caribbean? Club Medicated?”

From there, the discussion moved into a homosexual theme after Leno mentioned that Rush was down there on an all boys vacation. Williams responded: “That’s code. What do you need to take on an all boys vacation?”

Williams then suggested that Rush was in the Caribbean to go “fly-fishing” as he pretended to use his nether regions as a rod and reel.

Rush is a creep who had to be arrested to force him to get help. Robin is a common genius who saw in himself a problem and has taken steps to fix it. That's the difference.

Last time I checked, the government (bipartisan) bowed way too much to the alcohol lobby, and for the most part the public (and yes, myself to a point) was happy about that.

As such, what Williams did was legal.

Rush broke the law, and apparently isn't looking for help... After all he broke the law a second time.

And, if you read what you posted about Limbaugh's problems, Williams isn't making fun of Rush having an addiction problem, he's aiming at Rush using .

Let me be the latest to point out you posted before looking at what you post. what you posted. Obviously you support Bush on education as you can't read.

Regis....and drinking is illegal if your over 21 right?

what rush did was illegal..... you arent comparing apples to apples here.

society sees that its ok to consum alcohol...not to abuse drugs.

both men have a problem and i hope they both get help for those problems.

just like i hope you get help pulling your head out of your ass.
