it's definitely photoshopped--as mentioned the paper is too white, but beyond that it's pretty blurry right around his hand (actually you can faintly see a "shadow" of his finger behind the pages of the paper, too, so it's not even a really great photoshop job...)

He's wearing a red, white and blue Adidas running suit too. What America-hating Communist would wear that?

on a side note who made the cuban flag because im guessing since its the same as the puerto rican flag besides the position of the colors and they are both probably modeled after the american flag that the US might have had something to do with it when it won both cuba and PR in the spanish american war.

The Cuban flag's origins began in 1849, when various movements to liberate Cuba from Spanish rule emerged, mainly among Cuban exiles in the United States. Anti-Spanish Cuban exiles under the leadership of Narciso López adopted a flag suggested by the poet Miguel Teurbe Tolón. His design, which later became the current national flag, incorporates three blue stripes, representing the sea that surrounds the island of Cuba, and two white stripes symbolizing the purity of the patriotic cause. The red triangle stands for the blood shed to free the nation. The white star in the triangle stands for independence. López carried this flag in battle at Cárdenas (1850) and Playitas (1851). Although the battles were unsuccessful, these were the first times the flag was raised in Cuba.
