My buddy Hal is going to be on a new show called "Celebrity Duets" on FOX, and this show has an American Idol Vibe to it. Hal has been chosen as one of the performers, and for those of you who don't already know, he's also a kick ass rock and roll-er (http://www.myspace.com/zero1band)

Hal has been chosen to appear on a new FOX show called
"DUETS"
Here's the press release....
"CELEBRITY DUETS" Premieres Tuesday Aug 27th but will normally air:
(Thursdays, 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT)
(Fridays, 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT)
CELEBRITY DUETS pairs recording superstars with celebrities not famous for singing in hopes of their making beautiful music together. Each week, celebrity participants as long as they remain in the competition will be paired with a different recording superstar. The show will follow the celebrities as they are mentored by their weekly recording artist partners, choose songs and perform popular duets in front of a panel of judges, a studio audience and television viewers.
After each performance episode, viewers will vote for their favorite celebrity performers, with the results announced live on the weekly results show the following evening. The celebrity with the fewest votes each week will be eliminated from the competition. The winning celebrity will emerge from the competition in perfect harmony, and a substantial cash prize will be donated to the charity of his or her choice.
Simon Cowell (AMERICAN IDOL), Michael Levitt (BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS) and Arthur Smith (HELLs KITCHEN, Skating with Celebrities) serve as executive producers. CELEBRITY DUETS is produced by SYCO, Fox Television Studios and A. Smith & Co. Productions. "
