Anybody heard from Hot Head Howard Dean lately? Seems since about Labor Day the Dems put a muzzle on Howard and stuck him in the closet. Given Howard's propensity for sticking his foot in his mouth, maybe the Dems thought they better muzzle him just before the election. This is rather odd behavior for a party that champions free speech.

If you looked at anything beyond WorldNutDaily and Drudge for news, you'd see that he's been active and written about on the campaign trail just about every day for the past few months.

And his strategy to grow a strong bench to challenge Republicans in every state, not just in the safe districts, is certainly bearing fruit. It's part of the reason you'll be watching House Speaker Pelosi set the legislative agenda in 2007.
