Cute Java...

Well howdy MJ - and Java. I think about this board every once in awhile and wonder what everyone is doing. Moved on it looks like.

In an 80s music related note - I went downtown to the Music in the Park show last week...the English Beat were playing. They were on stage for 1 1/2 hours...not bad for a free show. I took my 11 year old - he wasn't particularly impressed, and kinda freaked out when everyone started dancing to 'Save it for later'...good times though.

Miss Cali will be a senior in high school this year. Hard to imagine.

Hope everyone is well!

Cali...my twins turned 18 on June 22 and 1 of them will be a senior(the other one is a year behind due to many health problems as a child)...its very hard for me to believe that my kids are "almost" grown up...

Howdy Y'all ...just popping in on the net every once in awhile as compared to the past - too much real life to enjoy and with my camera in tow. It's nice when one can combine their hobbies and entertainments as both can grow exponentially together :)

I wonder where the others had gone on to? - hopefully to greener pastures in real life and simply hadn't thought to check in yet, or couldn't think of anything to say...

* waves a big welcome banner *

Its alright to just say 'hello', 'howdy', 'hey', '¡hola!' 'hej', 'Wie gehts!', 'Kia Ora!', etc but as for 'hi', the software here doesn't like posts of under 3 characters...

Hi. My kids are 12 and 7. I'm in my 28th year at a major airline based in Atlanta. I am in my 19th year as music minister at a church. I am now back in school, majoring in accounting.

Stephen is a pianaist, french horn player, actor, singer, songwriter.

Beth is in her fourth year of ballet and has impressed her instructors with her flexibibity. She is also taking piano.

Both of them are great kids and my life is blessed because of them.

Thats Awesome...I remember when Beth was born. I think I started on this message board in 99...thats was quite a few wrinkles and gray hairs ago. N'SYNC were still just kids and Brittanny was sweet and innocent as compared to slutty and insane. I wonder if Nick, iggy,ISOJ,garnet or the rest of the gang ever married or had children yet...they should all be over 30 by now...some of us are pushing 50...Its good to hear things are going well for you and hopefully all the old gang are doing fine too...Shortchris is probably about ready to be drowning in college debt...

I'm still shocked that I remember my password when I log into this forum...

Great to see MJ still trying to keep this place alive :-)

Brandon, that's awesome that you're back in school. I'm considering heading back myself once my oldest graduates in June and hopefully heads off to college not too far from here. If she doesn't and decides to do a 2 year stint at a local JC, maybe we'll be in the same classes..what a nightmare that would be for her. lol

My little guy is 11 and in full swing doing travel hockey. If things go well during a Thanksgiving tournament, we'll be headed to Canada. A dream for me. He's also busy with school and band.

I still chat with Shorty on AIM from time to time. I just love hearing his stories about having 5 kids. Makes my life seem SO much easier. The next time I talk to him, I'll see if I can send him this way.

I wonder about iggy, isoj and the others as well. would be nice to hear from them again.

Thanks MJ for bringing back good memories we had in this forum. I hope we can keep it going.

Ah, it feels good to be back! Anyone remember me?

Here's my update....bought my first house back in the spring (love it), gave up the second job at the hotel, still working for the guv'ment...only 16 years until retirement!!! Little Man completed his first flight this summer during aviation camp...he's now in 5th grade and will be celebrating his 11th birthday next week. I guess that's pretty much it.

Gosh I've missed hanging out here! Love re-reading our posts from days gone by...who knew we were so funny?!!

Of fun! I didn't see this thread...

Yes, I've been in my 30s for four years now... not married, my kid just turned 13, I started my own recruiting business a little over a year ago and I work out of my home... or from Florida for the next two weeks (Spring Break).

I still see Sunshinegirl all the time and iggy made his way to MN for a visit about a year ago. Haven't heard from Nikki for years, but get updates from iggy.

I'd still be game for a LD reunion in Vegas! ;)
