Does anyone here have tickets? The face value was $16 - but they are on ebay for much more and a broker I know has them for $290 a ticket. Now either they are out of their minds or they know much more about who will be there. Any truth to the rumors- will everyone be there as rumored?

You left out the third possibility - they are just taking advantage of rumors and a sold-out show (which by the way took weeks to sell out). Did the rumors generate the sell-out or did the sell-out generate the rumors?

The scalpers have few to offer and ebay does not have many - but I keep hearing that this is a sold out show - maybe over sold(though the Pony never over sells shows). To all who have tickets - enjoy - should be fun - not matter who shows.

I originally posted about this show on Live Daily on Thursday, Oct. 19, and there was very little response to it:

Anyone could have easily bought a ticket.
Backstreets then ran information about the show in the news section of its website on Monday, Oct. 23.
Prior to Oct. 23, as Wayne said above, only about 100 tickets had been sold. And they had been onsale for a few weeks.
After it ran on Backstreets, the Stone Pony sold more than 600 tickets in two days. I'm sure the $15 price tag had something to do with it. And Garry Tallent's name is on the announced lineup.
By Thursday, Oct. 26, the show was sold-out and became this hot ticket. It's a supply and demand issue.
As far as the rumors - rumors are rumors, just like they always are at the Jersey Shore and have been for the past 30 years.
No one knows anything solid except for the announced lineup. Which is already a great lineup. There's talk that another E Street Band member may show up and play. Who knows?
But no matter who shows up and who doesn't, for me, it will be a fun night of nostalgic Jersey Shore music.
