Is anyone else looking forward to this show?

The basic premise is that Erik Estrada, La Toya Jackson, Trish Stratus, Jack Osbourne and Jason Acuna (wee-man from Jackass) will be trained to be police officers and will then be issued a gun and badge at the end. This sounds interesting!

What do you think about giving celebrities guns (http://video.yahoo.com/video/play?vid=31c9ec79e726ac2ef858b493cf9d87d7.1577591&fr=yvmtf) and the authority to become cops for a small town and filming it? It doesn't really seem fair, or sets a good example when celebrities, such as Jack Osborne, who have a history of drug use are given guns. They are trained and given the ability to apply deadly force by a television network in the name of ratings.
I don't think it should be taken that seriously, since they are just being trained to the point of ride alongs in Muncie, IN. Doesn't seem like they'd have too much violent crime there. The previews look like their all having fun and learning cool cop stuff.

Ah, I think as long as they don't give LaToya a gun, it's fine let her work behind the desk so that everyonee's safety is in hand.
