The only way Britney Spears can guarantee she’ll keep custody of her sons, Sean Preston, 16 months, and Jayden James, 4 months, is to give in to Kevin Federline’s settlement demands.
Brit’s estranged hubby turned down a $10 million offer in December and is now asking for an astonishing $50 million — about one third of Brit’s net worth — to give up full custody of the kids.
“She’s been crying practically nonstop,” says a friend of Brit’s.

Granted, it's a lot of money, but really, can you put a pricetag on your kids?
This is just one of many reasons why people should THINK before they decide to procreate and not rush into anything.

Oh I'm not by any means saying that this came from a relaible source. Most of what we hear about celebrities is bull. I'm just saying that as far as custody suits go, they generally tend to get ugly.
And no, I don't think Britney's choice of father was well thought through. If she had dated Kevin for a couple of years before having kids, then she'd have been divorced before she had them. And as a result, would have been able to choose a father that she can actually make things work with longterm.

I agree and I also disagree. I think she should have dated him a little while longer, I agree with that. But even if she did, I don't think that would have mattered. I've known people who dated for 5+ years and still got divorced. It's never a guarantee. :)
But anywho, I doubt it's true, but if it is...it's very sad and very low of Kevin. Sean and Jayden should mean the world to him, not $50 million.
