I was at the game Friday, when they won their 17th consecutive home game.
The AmericanAirlines area lights up like a casino when the mavs play there, it's alot of fun. The drumline played after most of the arena was empty to a small crowd of dancing people.
All that stuff beside, I think they play like a winning team just like before. Every year they get a little better. If they keep doing that they will be the best!

Who likes the mavs? Someone else has to like them and this forum neeeds more than 2 posts on it.

Not a Mavs fan, Heat fan for life. Not to bring negativity to your thread, but when a team says on more than one ocassion they gave the championship away. That is called being immature and not giving the Heat the credit they deserve. Don't get me started on Mark Cuban, that man couldn't manage his way out of a wet paper bag.

Just keep this in your memory, it doesn't matter how many wins you get, it matters what you do in the playoffs.

I think the Mavs loss last year was a combination of below-average playing and a disproportionate amount of BS ref calls during the finals.

Although, I was really disappointed that Dwayne Wade got hurt before tonight's rematch because I knew as soon as I saw him get hurt that when the Mavs whipped up on the Heat tonight, the Heat fans excuses would be, "Oh well they only beat us cause D-Wade was hurt."

But, the difference is that, when Dirk is gone, the Mavs still got game. That's an all-around good team.

The Heat are trying to find themselves right now, their leading scorer is gone. The Mavs should feel ashamed. After all it was a 12 point game. I still think the Heat are the better team and with how tough the west is, the Mavs in the finals isn't a given.

LMFAO. It was a 12 point game cause the Mavs didn't have to try anymore after they were up by 20. I realize you're a fan, but try to stop being a homer for a second and at least be realistic.

I'm still hoping my Celtics have a shot. Realistically though, with 3 long winning streaks, the Mavericks are definitely the best team right now, but they do have a lot of competition in that conference. I could even see a team like Utah making it far, and I never thought I'd be saying that from previous seasons. I assume the Mavericks will dominate the first round, but it could be very tough after that.
