westview at the grammys

It is kind of weird to me how Aaron's friends ( westview ) are attending the grammys, they also went to the vmas in 2006 and they aren't really anybody? I know they have a myspace and they have cds online.. But the grammys and vmas? I think even Aaron is a notch up from them and we haven't seen him at these parties and such. I think if Aaron got motivated, he could probably go to any of these celebrity parties, he said he didn't like going out to those kind of things anymore, he liked staying home.. I wonder how it will be when he is promoting his cd, will he attend things or just hope the cd will do things its self without his motivation.. Just a thing I'm worried about when his cd is released :\

Hiya, yeah I would say that he would have to attend all them events in order to promote his CD, so I wouldnt worry about that!

Yeah, its only if he wanted to. On the house of carters Nick's managers were bitching to him because he wasn't motivated enough to do anything. You see these a list celebrities attending all events just to keep themselves on the map, Aaron isn't a list and probably will never be a list, but if he had all the support that most celebrities had with his people, he'd probably be known more than just Nick's brother and the kid who cheated on Hilary and Lindsay. Lets face it his relationship status is more famous than his musical career, it sucks! I think he has no one around him now to motivate him and get him out there, last time he had his mom and even if people dislike her, she got him out there

I think its also Aarons choice. Maybe he doesnt want all of this attention? All of this A list stardom? Maybe for now, he wants to just been a typical teen. His brother took a break, between a solo career and the Boys and maybe thats what Aaron needs. He did start, after all, at 8-9 years of age. Hes 19 now. Give him some room.
Do I want to see Aaron? Yes! A new record? Sure. BUt I think he needs some time, finding himself. Hes matured over the years. He can't be 20 years old singing Alien Nation. Ok, so, Im sure he will, but u see what I mean. LOL
Hopefully he is at the Grammys tonight, guess we have to wait and see <3

So you get invited and decline. Its not the end of the world.
Maybe Aaron got an invite and let his band go instead. Sortta spreading the joy around if you will. Just an idea. I dunno.

Westview is an up and coming rock band, and they're out there getting their name known and their songs heard. I get the sense you're suggesting they don't really deserve to be there simply because you've never heard them on the radio, and you are way wrong if that's the case.

I've been to some of their shows and they're extremely talented both live and on their album. And on top of that, they are some of the most all around awesome guys. Just cos you've never heard of them doesn't mean they aren't good.

They just opened up a show for Sugarcult in L.A. That's pretty Grammy attendee worthy if you ask me :-) You should be encouraging a new band getting exposure like this, not wondering why Aaron isn't getting it.

And to whoever said something about Aaron getting an invite and letting his band go instead - Westview is not Aaron's band. They know him, sure. But that doesn't mean Aaron is in charge of their band or has any say in their music for that matter.

for those of you who say you've never heard Westview on the radio, you must not live in Florida. They're pretty well-known locally, especially in the South. In Orlando, you can hear commercials on the radio advertising their debut EP, For The Record. It's pretty awesome, you all should check it out.

I know everyone here says that westview and aaron are friends, but I saw the drummer of westview andrew, and paris hilton at the pregrammy party acting veryvery "friendly" if you know what I mean.... which is wierd because nick and paris use to date, and now hate each other. But yeh! westview is a super talented band who definitly deserve the success they are getting.
