Google Guessing Game

There is a mystery in my mind that is yours to figure out. Guess what I'm holding in there. I'll give you a number to indicate how close your guess is to what I'm thinking of, the higher, the closer you are.

This number will be derived from a formula using Google hits to determine how related your guess is to my mystery, by weighing how frequently your guess appears on Web pages that contain my mystery alongside how frequently my mystery appears on Web pages that contain your guess.

Beware that this measure is susceptible to many biases as to the nature of Google and the Web itself that can wildly skew results away from one's intuitive sensibilities, so try to make interpretive adjustments as needed rather than take these figures at face value. I'll be doing my part to reduce "noise" when I do my googling, by always putting your guesses and my mystery in quotes.

I'll try to update at least daily, and hope you find fun and challenging this crazy "word association in reverse".
