The current issue of influential british urban magazine "Blues & Soul" has a feature interview from Joss Stone. In this interview Mariah pops up:

...Stone is modest about her soulful pipes. "There are songs that I’ve written which I can’t sing. I don’t think I’m a great singer. I have a nice tone but I’m not a real singer like Mariah or a Whitney. They’re amazing. I Don’t think I’m in their league. I’m more of a feel type of singer. I get very emotional when I sing and I’m just basically a raw type of singer, maybe not technically brilliant."

That was really nice of Joss Stone to say, but the thing I like about Mariah is she writes her own songs and produces them herself no one can match her skills on writing good songs.:nod: :nod: :nod: :hah:

its true. but Mariah should definitely try put some bigass power ballads on her new album. Make them mature sounding too! :bunny: :hat:
