The NFL, in cooperation with the NFL Players Association, has new conduct guidlines. An example of the rules led to the suspension of Pacman Jones and Chris Henry. Word is Tank Johnson could be suspended once he's released from jail.

Feelings?

Personally, I think the NFL did a great job here. However, I have a problem with Jones and Henry being suspended for actions before the rules were in place. If I were commissioner Goodell, I wouldn't have suspended them yet, but told them as they already have too many strikes against them, the next offense for either would result in exile from the NFL and connected leagues.

I think its great...I like the message the NFL is sending.

There are too many "thugs" in the league that are giving a bunch of good guys a bad rep.

Now i know its a preseason game Dave...but i cant wait until my panthers go to NY and kill those Giants ;)

I agree with you about the before the rules were in place thing.
