Well, Taylor stopped by a radio station last night in NYC and yeah.. Someone on livejournal typed up a transcript. Kind of interesting, he even played a solo song of his that he wrote with another musician.

Girl: I've got some guests in the studio....
Taylor: Hey, this is Taylor Hanson, just hanging out...
Girl: How was your dinner?
Taylor: It was great actually. Of course probably a lot of people come over from the restaurant. Hey how's it going? No, but it's actually such a good vibe in there. I was listening to music earlier, I was like I really wanted to play some tracks. And you were telling me a really cool story about the Ya Ya Ya's.
Girl: Yeah, so I'm playing a new song by the Ya Ya's next. It's called, "Ceilings," you can find it on the Spiderman 3 soundtrack, but yeah, Taylor as I was telling you, I've been waiting like 2 years to get my hands on this song. I was, when I first moved to New York 2 years ago I was living in this crazy store front with 6 boys and this weird band and I didn't really like to be around there and it was Christmas and I just wanted to be somewhere else and Nick Zinner (??)from the ya ya's was going out of town for 6 months so he let me and my friend's stay in his apartment. We didn't really go through his stuff, we just happened to find this cd...
Taylor: You were just going through...Hey I just stumbled across this disk.
Girl: It said demo. And we're like let's just listen to it.
Taylor: It's not like somebody's journal. Like if you see a demo, your not supposed to open it.
Girl: So we listened to it and it was amazing. It was unlike any Ya Ya song I had heard yet. And so I told them afterwards, like you know look, I found this cd and I listened to it and I really liked it and I um, asked him if I could have it and he was like no you can't, but uh, wait for it.
Taylor: It said demo on it.
Girl: It did say demo. Um, so the last ya ya's album came out,"Show Ya Bones." I was really excited. I loved the album, but that track wasn't on it. And I was like wut's up with that song nick like where is it, where can I find it? He was like well we're holding it off for a soundtrack. And he didn't tell me and the time what soundtrack. I don't think he knew. But, yeah. Here it is. It's gonna be on..It's on the spriderman soundtrack. So, here it is. This song is called Ceilings. And I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Taylor: Nice...

**Plays song**

Girl: Alright, Ya Ya's. What do you think? Was it worth the wait?
Tay: I think it was worth the wait, yeah. Especially if your a ???? fan. And obviously, they have there sound and that's really...Gosh (Gosh? Really Taylor, lol) how does it sound compared to the demo when it all started?
Girl: Um, it was so long ago, I don't really remember.
Tay: It's a blur.
Girl: I think it, yeah, it does sound better. It sounds bigger.
Tay: It's spiderman. It must be big. It has to be large.
Girl: So, your uh, still looking for stuff.
Tay: Yeah, I, uh, think I'm might throw in like a couple songs.
Girl: alright.
Tay: Why don't you play one more and then we'll plug up while we're rocking on one (???).
Girl: Alright, yeah. I'm gonna play a track by a new band from New York called White Rabbits. This is, "While We Go Dancing."

Girl: And we're back.
Taylor: Cool. That was really cool.
Girl: That was nice. They've got two drummers in that band.
Taylor: You know that's actually one of those things that underestimated. The two drummer thing. A great story about little Richard used to say. He used to get two drummers playing a lot of those beats that really shuffles, **insert a chugga choo a chugga choo sounds here (LMAO)** Because he was always trying to create that train. He would say it's gotta sound like a train. **chooga sound** It's gotta have...And that kinda has that sorta sway to it. So, um, thanks for letting me storm (?) your time a little bit.
Girl: Of course...
Taylor: It's just fun to play records. This...I was saying...I'm so frustrated, cause there were a couple of things that I wanted to play. I totally rocked out at the hotel. But, this is a cool tune called, "Don't Destroy Us," by a band. Now, this is sort of in the process, so it's a band called, "Astro Command (???)." It's a really cool bunch of guys from L.A., some friends.
Girl: Cool...
Tay: And it's called, "Don't Destroy Us." Pretty cool.

**Plays song**

Girl: I really like that. And I love the fact that you just told me that Chris Holms is, has been working with this band.
Tay: Uh, yeah. It really is kind of his band. It's him singing. We actually...I wasn't planning on playing stuff that we were singing on, but that was us singing on it. then I was looking at tracks that I had. What should we play next? It's only a couple of minutes left in your show.
Girl: Yeah we got...Yeah, so one last song. We only have time for one song.
Tay: Oh gosh, that's like really hard. Now, I feel really bad for playing something that's like my, sort of my song.
Girl: No, you should play it.
Tay: This is a song that I wrote with a couple of friends a few months ago that is really beautiful. Not because I'm singing on it. But, because it's a good song. Andrew W.K and myself.
Girl: Was this during one of the retreats?
Tay: This, yeah. Around the same time.
Girl: Cool.
Tay: So, yeah. Here we go.

**Plays songs** (Very different... So, different then Hanson's music. Sounds sort of 70's- ish with the keyboard and vocals).

Girl: So, "take my time." I wish we could.
Tay: That's nice. That was nice. Good work.
Girl: So, thanks for coming in Taylor.
Tay: No, thanks for letting me storm your fortress a little bit.

Thanks for that! But whoever typed up the transcript originally should know that it's "Sealings" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, not "Ceilings" by the Ya Yas, lol.

Speaking of Taylor's song.. I've heard from several people that they really do not like the song he did..... I haven't heard it yet but haha. Someone did type up the lyrics, but I've lost them.
