Indiana Jones 4 Starts Filming This Week

The official Formula 1 website caught up with George Lucas at the Monaco Grand Prix late last week. He said Indiana Jones 4 starts filming this week:
I plan to go to Indianapolis as well - if my schedule permits it, as I start shooting Indiana Jones IV next week. If the production is running as planned you will find me there."
Lucas is executive producing the fourth installment, hitting theaters on May 22, 2008.

WHEN Cate Blanchett was recently cast in the next Indiana Jones adventure opposite Harrison Ford, most people assumed she would play the title character's love interest.
But the Academy-Award winning actress will be practising a Russian accent as she prepares to play the part of the villain in the fourth installment - Indiana Jones and the City of Gods.
While Blanchett has played a wide variety of characters in her films, this is the first time she has had the opportunity to play a real baddy.
The love interest part is being left to actress Karen Allen, who played Marion Ravenwood, the former love interest of Jones and without giving too much, there is also a young son.
In the first flick, Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark, the hunky archaelogist battled the Nazis, while in the second flick Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - he took on the crazy Mola Ram and his followers.
The Nazis returned in the third film - Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which also starred Sean Connery as Indy's dad.
The film is scheduled to start shooting next month.
