Cite a poll showing Congressional Approval in the 14% range.
In terms of approval, Congress is hovering around 25%, and that number itself is being held low by Americans' frustration at Congress' inability to stop Bush and the remaining Republicans in Congress from continuing to make bad policy decisions.
If the Democratic Congress was more able to force Bush's hand and end the Iraq occupation, develop universal health care, increase stem cell lines, invest in alternative energy development and revoke the tax giveaways to the richest Americans, approval would be much higher.
Recent Congressional Approval polls:
CBS (6/26-28) - 27%
Newsweek (6/18-19) - 25%
Gallup (6/11-14) - 24%
