Michael Moore:

But, ahhh, you know, why don't you tell the truth to the American people. I mean, I wish that CNN and the other mainstream media (laughs) would just for once tell the truth about what's going on in this country, whether it's with health care, I don't care what it is. I mean, you guys have a such a poor track record, and for me to come on here and have to listen to that kind of crap.
Man, if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black, I don't know what is...LOL

I agree with "Sicko" Moore that the mainstream media hardly ever tells the truth, but we agree for different reasons, of course.

Just so you know, Rush is as mainstream as you can get.

And at least as much of a "Sicko" as Michael Moore.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta today admitted that he was wrong about some of the facts in his CNN report on SiCKO -- a report that led Michael Moore to blast Wolf Blitzer. The e-mail exchange below, between Moore's team and Gupta's producer, shows that Gupta and CNN had the facts -- including the one he apologized for -- a full day before the Gupta piece first aired on AC360 on June 29 (following Moore's first appearance regarding SiCKO on Larry King Live), and a full 10 days before the network re-aired it preceding Moore's volatile July 9 appearance on The Situation Room.

I'm glad Moore nailed CNN. I saw the Sanjay Gupta piece the day after seeing Sicko and knew that he had falsely claimed that Moore's facts on the per capita spending on health care in Cuba were inaccurate. It's not cool at all for CNN to have aired and repeated the piece knowing it was wrong.

Okay, that pisses me off in two arenas. First, as a medical professional, I'm offended that a physician would purposely disseminate false information and, second, as a former journalist, I'm offended that a journalist would do the same. Shame on Dr. Gupta and CNN.

I saw him on the SitRoom, and before Micheal left he interrupted Wolf saying, "thanks for telling me you liked my film during the commercial break." I thought it was funny.
