Hypothetical Questions
- by George!
Post them here, and - by George! I will start.

Drunk Astronauts: If I knew I was sitting atop an aging huge potential bomb or other self-destructible device would I not want some Scotch to help beam me up?

Once the accelerating expansion of the universe eventually collapses the hubble horizon to endless points of singularity scattered throughout non-spacetime and one of those points happens to collapse upon a black hole which has an event horizon surrounding a singularity of its own, which of these opposing forces wins this battle over possession of singularity without a witness?

Why do people park in a driveway and drive on a parkway?

Why am I confused by this thread?

Is that a hypothetical question?

I dont know?

I think it qualifies, Chad....

Why do you never, EVER see baby pigeons?

And why does George have a post count of zero, when he has clearly posted at least twice?

I think because he only posted in this forum where post counts do not count. ;)

That's only supposed to be in word game threads.

I don't know if it's hypothetical, but I was thinking of asking this in the forum:

Which came first: Chip 'n' Dale or Chipendales?

Ahh. Hadn't realized we are in word games forum... Not for long...

Does Dave EVER know where he is? And has he found the edit button yet?

And Chip and Dale were WAY before the Chippendales.

Why can't chicken's fly, since they clearly have wings?

Probably for the same reason a 1958 Cadillac can't swim. :)

But they CAN fly! I've seen it! Not far, not high, not fast, but I saw one take off one time.

There was this annoying rooster in our neighborhood a few years ago. Now, we live in a densely-populated suburban neighborhood, where livestock isn't usually found. But someone (my Bumpus next-door fools) had chickens for a while, and one of the roosters got out and was roaming the area. It was in our back yard, and I went out there and just tried to walk over to it. It took off to get away from me! I was shocked.

"With God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly."

Possibly one of the best punchlines ever in the history of TV.

Turkeys can take flight for a short time, I've seen it. One flew over my head once. They can take off from a high hill and glide acrossed the valley.

But they don't apparently do well being thrown out of helicopters.

Dave, on my way to work this past year I would pass some fields and see turkeys (I actually almost took out Thanksgiving dinner once  ), and EVERY single time, I would think, "As God is my witness......"

:D

I still have nightmares about those poor turkeys falling to their deaths, splatting on the ground. Horrifying.

The way TV is these day, they would have actually shown sfx footage. So much more graphic just imagining... *shudders*

:D

That's what made it so good though, Les was awesome!

There's something to be said about the "theater of the mind." This proves it.

sub-jec-tive ... I was looking through the character map of Times New Roman and noticed all the variations discovered under this one font and wondered... by George!

...and looking under one of its many definitions in Merriam-WebsterŪ
