View Full Version : Nomination: Worst Movie Ever
Incident

Inspector Gadget starring Matthew Broderick.
I know it is a kids movie, and I didn't see more than 3 minutes of it, 20 seconds here and there while channel surfing, but it was actually making me physically sick.

Eye of the Beholder always pops up to my head when I think of the worst film ever.

American Psycho.
WTF was that about?! The first time I watched it I got to the part where he beats the dog to death then stopped. The second time, one of my friends made me watch it till the end saying it wasn't so bad. It was horrible the ending just made me mad.

Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
Total misuse and abuse of Preston, Frampton, the BeeGees, and Aerosmith.

Great choice.
I'll nominate Caddyshack II. A disgraceful ripoff of the classic original.

I really disliked "Eulogy". I pretty much hate anything that tries to be quirky and comes with "Seinfeld" music.

Ashley Judd is amazing!!! That movie was ok, but not nearly as good as Kiss The Girls!

And she makes lots of bad movies. See Bug. That one was surprisingly good.

I also disliked "Gone with the Wind"! I thought I was the only one. Overlong, overbaked, it's a mess of melodramatic nonsense for people who think massive budgets and soap-opera body counts make a good movie.
And while I'm dumping on supposed classics, "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was no joy either. Capote's novella is far better.

I dislike a lot of movies, so it would be easier for me to list my favorite movies, because the list would be so short.

I haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. This is why we must marry and spread hate together.

Worst movie? I forget the name of it but it is suppose to be the greatest movie of all time. It was made in the 1940's...I think and it's entirely politically incorrect...

Oh, good post. I have a running list of worst movies ever. I haven't added anything to it in awhile so I haven't had to think about it... so there's a good chance I'm forgetting some that I had on there.
The Evil Dead
The Fog
Suspiria
Slugs
Wicker Park
Sleepaway Camp
I'm definitely forgetting some. But, those are the worst so it's all good.

Citizen Kane is the movie I'm talking about..
Even if you don't care for the story, the making of the film was groundbreaking. There were lenses used that were made especially for the film that were then used after that, and techniques developed that were new to the industry. You have to admire it for that.

It's a comedic spoof of horror above all else. It's good that it made you laugh.

I never saw this before. Well, it wasn't a perfect movie, nor one that is easy to swallow, but the performances were SO good and downwards spiral so unbelievable that it became believable. I really liked it a lot, though it wasn't a film I loved and not one I would really see again and again.
