Also, an 800x600 wallpaper is now available for download (http://fragrance.mariahcarey.com/extras/index.php) in the "Extras" section. • Love, Luther, a new Sony/Legacy box set is due out in stores Oct. 16. The four-disc, 53-track set traces Luther Vandross' beginnings as a jingles singer and New York sessions vocalist through his 25 years. In addition to his hits and "Lutherized" covers are six previously unreleased songs and duets with the likes of Janet Jackson, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Dionne Warwick and Frank Sinatra. And in the ad for Mariah Carey's debut fragrance, M by Mariah, Mariah's sunken-in-water, naked body is so obviously touched up that one poster referred to her as a "wounded mermaid." But while she's not alone, Sarah Jessica Parker's commercial (for Covet) is the most strikingly silly perhaps because as a video, there's just more footage to gaggle over.

Carey was rejected by the same Central Park West board that rejected buyers for Barbara Streisand's apartment.
