I just saw a commercial with Perez Hilton on MTV for the show rappin' with the stars! I missed the time but I DO now that it premeres August 30th! Closer than I thought!It said 8 rappers teach 8celbrities to rap. Is Aaron a part of this? I wonder if he will have a commercial like Perez...

"Celebrity Rap Superstar" premieres August 30th on MTV


NEW YORK (AP) - MTV is giving celebrities the chance to try out their rap skills in a new show called "Celebrity Rap Superstar."

The series will pair eight contestants with hip-hop mentors like Warren G., Paul Wall and Tone Loc to learn the ropes of the rap game, and then put them in head-to-head competition where they'll perform covers of some the most popular hip-hop songs.

The contestants will also have to create original rhymes and perform under pressure in freestyle competitions.

The viewing audience will vote to decide who goes and who stays in the competition each week, until one winner is left standing.

i agree, I dont know about MTV in the US, but in the UK and Ireland...it has got really bad, they have low budget reality shows.
i feel so embrassed for the people on these shows.

MTV = DTV.... Dating TV! At least, that what it seems like to me. Room Raiders, Parental Control and all that garbage. pure BS on MTV
