So I'm at a ballgame right now, and I just saw the biggest loser ever...

A guy just proposed to his girlfriend on the jumbotron, which I think is hokey in the first place. So he had it planned with the stadium officials. They did the thing during the "Kiss Cam," and did a happy birthday message to the woman too. Then they put "now turn around" up on the screen the cue for the woman to look. The guy's supposed to get the ring out at this point, except the moron missed the cue! So by the time he realizes this was his moment, the batter steps up to the plate and they cut away from the couple.

They showed the, er, happy couple after the at-bat. The woman didn't look all that thrilled, she probably was wishing she was wearing an "I'm with stupid" shirt. But she was holding flowers and was with him, so I guess it was a yes.

Let me tell you what one of my friends boyfriend did. They have been dating for about 5 or 6 years and every summer they go to the beach on vacation. Well, she was starting to get upset because he had not proposed yet. So I think he was under some pressure to propose. He bought a really, really nice ring, like thousands of dollars. It was actually sweet because she had looked at the ring a few months before and she did not know he went back and bought it! They were at the beach for 9 days and for the first 5 days he used the bathroom alot because of his nerves. He was so sick waiting for the right moment to propose. They were at a gift shop and he got a little novelty ring out of a coin machine. They went to a gazebo and she asked for her ring. Perfect timing! He pulled out the engagement ring when she wasnt looking and when she turned around he was on his knees asking her if she would marry him. Of course, being the emotional person she is, she started crying and he was happy and she was happy the end. BLAH!
