it had a lot of potential, but was a disaster. but i must admit, the more i watch it the more i like it. it's a guilty pleasure, so bad it's good! lol. i didn't expect any live singing, so i wasn't disappointed with that. i just hate when i run into the 2 or 3 spots where i wish she would have done more and broken it down some. she was stiff and going thru the motions. i also think it would have helped if she had performed in front of screaming fans like at past VMAs instead of industry people laughing at her. she should have also covered up her middle a bit more, maybe she would have felt more comfortable. she looks good for having had 2 kids, but it's not the time yet to wear those kind of outfits. focus on the boobs and legs for now. her heart just wasn't in it, oh well. from the neck up she looked the best she's looked in a while, though! they did a good job with her. at least the song is good.

what perez said about being fat...that is so uncalled for...but the rest about her performance is so true... even if she had to change her routine, even though she may not have liked the idea she should have at least showed some enthusiasm. I mean she looked like a wreck. she looked like she was in another world other than earth. about sarah with the kids joke thing. that was not nice. but comedians will do and say what they want and don't care.

(edit) also forgot to mention that i think her dancers got more attention then her. even 50 cent was looking like "woah pole dancers". i feel bad for her honestly. if she didn't want to do it she should have canceled, make something up.

You don't truly believe that, do you? What was all this about the Criss Angel rehearsals. As a producer you don't allow a performance to be rehearsed as is, then scrap it completely due to insurance issues, putting your entire show at risk. Besides, on the near nonexistent chance that Britney's original performance was scrapped then Britney, MTV, and everyone else involved should have collaborated to make a performance worthy of the air time that lethargic mess ate up. Hell, they could have pushed Britney's performance back and had someone else go on for her; it's happened before. Point blank, Britney should have never stepped foot on the stage at any moment if she had the intention of sleepwalking through the performance.

Let's not forget she looked a mess, as well. The hair, the outfit, she presented herself in the worse possible way and you can't make excuses for that.

Yeah, better things like ignoring the fact she isn't what she used to be. She needs to sort her life out before even trying to make a comeback. I'd rather her be happy, have a happy life then come back with a BANG but instead she performed looking lost, unhappy & wanting to not be there.

That's no excuse either. If she was as half as good as she once was, she still would have brought the heat. All jokes aside, she had a bad performance, and that happens. Christina hasn't always had the best performances, neither has Mariah or any other big star. I've never been a fan of hers, because she lacks vocal ability, BUT she knows how to entertain and she did that at the VMAs, just not in a good way. So, it was fun for a while to tease and make fun of her but the subject needs to be put to bed.

Thats the thing with me...She didnt grow in the time shes bene gone at all. I mean Im not trying to cnovince stans to think clearly because that odviously impossible but the FACT is she had a bad performance that show NO growth as a performer and thats why I lost interest.


I wish we could get away fromt his whole tabloid thing cause we should be talking about people without talent.
