Funny, but true. Britney needs to focus on her family and her life, not making some less than stellar comeback. It's clear where her priorities are and that's the sad thing.

I guess she's partying 24/7 to improve her life, right?

She is making a less than stellar comeback because she is focused on her family and life.
She does not party 24/7 either. I look as her partying as a her way of taking a night or two to forget her many problems. Most people do this .

Her career doesn't seem like a huge priority to her and I can't say I blame her. If it were, she would be promoting her album which is out in less than 2months.

Its going to sell anyway though because people like her music... but still, I'd like some performances and interviews about her music.

She threw a birthday party for her baby boy today. Nuff said.

Why do a comeback at all then? That's a lame excuse.

Because, over the past four years, she has recorded enough new music for her record label to put a great album together. You do know record labels decide when albums will be released and not the actual artist, right?

She'll do what she can.

I'm sure JIVE knows her album will sell even if she cuts back on the promotion, so they don't really care much about it.
"Gimme More" is only climbing up the charts and the song isn't even on Itunes yet. Its kinda ironic because Britney is not known for having chart topping music. I can only guess that a lot has happened during those four years she was MIA.

Yeah, that makes it all better.

I didn't say she's not a good mother, but based on things she's done this past year I question where her priorities are, and I'm not the only one. Why make a comeback when you're going through so much personally? A custody battle claiming you abuse your children? Two stints in rehab and not getting full treatment? Yet she wants to make a comeback and in the meantime parties all night? Doesn't strike me as someone who has their priorities straight.

But why do you care? I don't think you like her music, or do you? And you obviously don't like Britney the person... so why do you care to comment on her?
Is it because of the Aguilera association? lol Really, what is it? I'm betting it has a lot to do with Christina.

In her defense its probaly all her label's doing.

She's made her life a spectacle, therefore it's a subject of conversation. I don't really care, although I do feel for her personally. Her life is a mess.

As far as her comeback, possibly, but there's too much blame being put on other people and not Britney. She chooses to party every night so clearly she's capable of making her own decisions.

Seriously, people need to stop talking about her family/kids. She spends all her time with them when it's her time with them. My God. I guess these damn pictures of her with them all the time aren't enough for some people.

Record labels decide when to release albums but without artist’s approval, it’s basically dead in the water. If Brit doesn’t want a comeback, she would not do any public appearances, performances, talk shows or a music video. The label can only control so much to release an album, everything else is up to Brit. So to say she only cares about family is wrong.

PS: I love this vid, it brings back ANTM memories

Noone said she only cared about her family, but when you are in the middle of a custody battle for your children its only natural that this will take priority over your music career. You're right that Britney has to sign to album release. But since she has screwed up so much this year, Jive probably giving her or else options.

I just don’t know who brought up a comeback, was it her label or Brit? I just don’t think she is ready to balance both aspects of her life. Lord knows she was having enough issues with her family and K-Fed before this career thing.

Most likely it was JIVE. Even though they haven't really commented on the Britney craziness, you know they're fed up with her behavior. They wanted a comeback in 2006 but she got pregnant again. Then it was all the crazy crap from this year. Jive figures as long as she isn't pregnant then they're going to release the album.
They didn't pay for her video probably because they wanted her in skinny mode but she failed to comply. They are overseeing the editing of the music video though. She's their artist and they want to make sure she's as profitable as can be without them losing money.
And a lot of stuff on this album was recorded in 2006. JIVE likes to release her albums in November, two month away from the new year. If they wait till next year, Britney's album will be filled with music she recored almost 3years ago. Thats not gonna work.lol
