Forgive me not meeting Stan's high literary standards, but allow me to relate a personal experience ...

Went down to CH about 2PM. 100+ Tramps in line for the Drop. Ugh! Go home.

Then read a Star-Ledger on-line article about 430PM. Wristbands available until 500PM. !!!!!!

In the car. Withdraw $200 from the local ATM. Wheeze down to the boards (We're talking cardiac conditions here, ya know.) Go inside CH and inquire with a apparently knowledgeable staffer, setting up the "Box Office."

"Sorry, wristbands were available until 400PM. The drawing is at 500PM."

Accck! Just like the 70s & 80s, when I got shut-out many times.

So for those of you interested in tomorrow's drop, you know what the procedure is.

Great weather today, though!!!

I'm getting way to old for this.

Except all of my extended family who once dissed me now want tickets. Go figure.

How many on the wristband line got in?

Wristbands started with the #19500, 19803 was the winner. Then told to line up starting there. I then asked what was the last # given out? I was then asked why do you need to know that. Hmmmm After three attempts to explain why, I think somebody figured it out. They then researched and found that 19817 was the last one. This now meant 19500 was #16. Didn't matter much because they couldn't get the drops to release from TM. So the first drops started going in near the end of Radio Nowhere. It was a bit of a fuster cluck. Not sure how many got in, my guess is at least 150 or more. As info, 1 wristband 1 ticket.

How is the view from Section B? I have Section C tomorrow night and have never been there. Although I should have GAs since that is what I ordered.

We were in section C tonight, great seats, but it's not too easy to have a bad seat anywhere in Convention Hall. I did notice the stacks of speakers on each side of the floor that were obviously blocking some of the view in GA since there were gaps of people on the floor around them. They may have affected some of the views from the seats as well, wasn't a problem for us though.

BTW - If this is just the rehearsal, I think we're in for a fun tour!

There's not a bad seat in the house...it's smaller than my high school gymnasium...Have a great time!

Don't know. But I do know that at 9:30 (an hour into the show, an hour left in the show) people from the drop were getting in.

I'm trying to avoid all info regarding setlists, but from what I have seen in some reviews the sound sucked and the show was about 4-6 songs short by Bruce standards.

Is this correct ?

The sound has been a main complaint, and there was some ill-timed political rant before Living in the Future that kills the momentum of the show. Those were the main complaints from a friend who got to go.

And, of course, there are pacing issues, but that's typical for the first rehearsal.

Someone should tell Bruce that we have a sub-section of the message board for rants.

I was talking with a guy after the show and he said his friend was on the drop line and did not get in. I don't remember what his number was

Section B is on the left side, full side view. Sound on the side is a bit rough, but I heard that was true from everywhere.......Rehearsal Show in CC. I would say doing the CA is a good idea, maybe do two.
The drop line system would have worked nicely if they would have been able to get the tickets out of TM earlier. Seems like alot of the other side "the I know somebody side" (the side where Bruce drives in) got in. Alot of sunburned people today.
Wristbands were given out from 2p -4p. 5P the # was drawn and we were told to line-up going up the ramp towards the Paramount, this was a bad call. 300 people ended up bunched up on the ramp. I suggest after the # is picked they should start the line along the rail on the Boardwalk. Standing on the ramp from 5 pm makes little sense. I could have went home and came back at 8pm and still got in the same. I do expect it to be a little less of a fuster cluck today. I'm sure they'll know the last # given out. Jerry kept everybody informed the best he could.

Not everyone on the drop line got in. They didn't start letting people in until the show started and it went very slowly at first. The people from the venue seemed to have problems handling the situation at first and the line barely moved for the first few songs of the show. Jerry came out and moved things along at a faster pace. The last people that got in probably went in around 9:15 so they missed at least the first 7 or 8 songs and maybe more. Hopefully tonight will go smoother.

I know someone who got in during the 8th song. She guestimated about 250 people got in off the drop.
Allegedly the problem with the dropline was TM was slow in releasing the tickets to be sold through the drop.

My guess is they're using these drop lotteries as tests to see what kinks they need to get out of the system before doing GA lotteries during the tour.

How did they handle General Admission? Wristbands, alphabetical or just line up when you got there?

There are alot of guessing going on about GA. There were very few people who had GA's through TM, so no GA line was needed. The larger stage might have been the reason why people who pulled GA's ended up with seats when they confirmed. 8 pm reports from inside said the GA was a least half empty. When I got in after the 1st song it was full. My guess is alot of the people who knew somebody got the GA's on the other side. The wristband drop did have GA's in the mix. Since it's going to be hotter today I wouldn't mind dropping a seat.

SUNBLOCK ALERT! I'M A REDNECK TODAY GETRDUN
