I got tickets for CAA Friday night in Section 110. Looking at the theater seating chart, I'm in the back behind the curtain. What setup is Bruce using for this show? Does anyone know?

No curtain, according to the rear seats on sale.

And a back ramp, so you should get up close and personal once at least...

I sat behing the stage for a show on the rising tour and it was alot better then I expected. Remember in the building is better then not.

Behind the stage and close is better than in front of the stage and far away. I've sat behind Bruce many times and they are usually very good seats.

you could probably control the lighting and sound from behind the curtain though?

Bruce Springsteen hasn't used a black curtain backdrop since the "Darkness" tour. You're in good shape.

The black curtain actually was present on the Devils and Dust tour...

And what arena with behind stage seating was that held in?

This is not going to be a "CAA Theater" setup...Its going to be the full arena, just with limited tickets sold for the floor and lower levels.

One of the purposes of the show is to get the sound adjusted for an arena...using a theater setting would defeat that purpose...

All that said, it basically translates to your seats are going to be great!! Right by the stage!!!

Can someone shed some light on this subject?
I have a ticket for CAA friday night in 124.
Is it the theater seating chart?
Or the full house GA floor?
Thanks in advance,
Eric

OK, I think NJdevils answered my question.

And the overall show will really be ho-hum because the 75% empty house kills the atmosphere.

That Rising Rehearsal at CAA with a similar setup was the Pits. At least compared to what we have been accustomed to with Bruce.

Thanks everybody...you all made me feel better, especially the man behind the curtain. I was sort of joking when I wrote it figuring someone would come up with it. Postal....like Woody Allen said in "Manhattan"...paraphrasing "Did you have the wrong kind of orgasm? I never had the wrong kind of orgasm. Even my worst one was right on the money"....My point is, I've never been to a disappointing Bruce show.

That's why I said compared to what we've become accustomed to, from Bruce
