Between this picture and Blood Diamond i feel guilty about wanting diamonds.

I had a friend at school whose fiance wanted to return her engagement ring after watching the movie. I told him to contact the place to ensure it was conflict free before returning it.

we have to sign a diamond free conflict contract yearly stating that we understand the policy and that Zales is not a part of the slave labor for diamonds..which I think is kinda cool. I've never had anyone ask me, but we also have a whole brochure explaining how we obtain our diamonds and such in case anyone asks.

That is awesome Kat, after seeing blood diamond i decided I would ask every time I buy a diamond, because you know...its so often ;)

I should go ask my local zales for a brochure because I am really curious about their methods and what happens etc.
