So let's chat about it.

what new shows are you watching? what old shows are you looking forward to?

anyone see ugly betty? those bitches tricked me.

Thought's on Grey's?

Let's talk about something fun and positive. TV fits that ;)

I watch Heroes, Criminal Minds, Grey's, Desperate Housewives, and Friday Night Lights.

I admit I only watch Heroes because I want to marry Milo Ventimigilia. And he was only on the last 5 seconds of the premiere so that was sad.

Criminal Minds was decent, but they have to write off a main character and I don't like how they appear to be doing it. The epsiode was actually supposed to air last year but it was about a killer on a college campus and they didn't air it because of Virginia Tech. I thought that was interesting.

I think I'm getting sick of Grey's. I never forgave them for the whole Meredith/death thing last year. And the deer was too much. And I missed Addison. And Burke.

And the other two haven't started yet.

Yay! Happy!

Well, here in Philadelphia, we have baseball that means something, and I completely forgot about Grey's last night until about 9:50.

Lame. I am sure you can catch it on abc.com Pinks.

Katlin, if you are getting sick of Greys, I still would like it if you watched so that I can takl about it with someone each week, even if it is lame. The deer was gay for sure. but I am dying to know whats going on with Derek and Meredith, "lets break up, its definitely over, oh but wait lets screw one more time in this here supply closet" George loving Izzy too? I really didnt expect that. I am curious to see what is going to happen with the whole Meredith sister thing. and how Christina is going to cope without Burke.

I am super looking foward to Desperate Housewives and Brothers and Sisters. I watched Private Practice and Dirty Sexy Money, which was good. I liked it. Big Shots is recorded and is just waiting being watched. It seems interesting.

oh, and How I met your mother makes me happier than choclate and dr pepper ever could. I heart Doogie Houser.

I think I need to leave work now seeing as I havent done **** in like...oh since yesterday.

:)

I heart Doogie Houser.
What are you, the next Kathy Griffin?

ah, i LOVE her. she makes me Laugh. I am going to try to go see her show in December.

Doogie Houser is hot!

My parents and I watch Two and a Half Men...so funny!

My Mom also likes Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor( wow is he cute!). I'm the only one who watches Greys because my roommates got me hooked last year. I  George and Izzie.

And of course we watch Monday Night Football

That's not what I meant, silly girl!

Sparks, my parents saw her in April. Said she was absolutely hilarious!

And if anyone is gonna be the next Kathy Griffin (unless I'm slow I'm guessing you're referring to her obsession with "the gays"), that'll be me. Most of my friends, and most of the men I'm attracted to, end up being gay

pinky
Sep 28th, 2007, 07:59 PM
You're not slow, Lanie.

Sparks has an obsession with Lance (or at least the blowup doll  ), and now she's hot for Doogie Howser. She will definitely be the next Kathy Griffin.

And Sparks is probably funnier, too. I find KG more obnoxious than funny.

lost_n_justin's_smile
Sep 28th, 2007, 08:03 PM
Speaking of Lance, how is the blow-up doll, Sparks? I think it should spend some time at my house.

Unless pinky wants to be really nice and give me the real thing as a graduation gift:tongue:

SparkleHugs
Sep 28th, 2007, 11:57 PM
aw thanks Pinks! I am way less obnoxious than Kathy. Shut up Katlin.

What blow up doll?? I never had a blow up doll. I may go see my ex husband promote his book on Nov 1st, I haven't decided yet. Maybe Pinks will lend you hers, personally I were you, Id go get my own because...well EW!

and yes, Doogie IS hot, and his character on that show is SOO messaganistic and very straight. always in a suit. super cute. and my best gay friend Jeff told me he was gay yeeaaarrs ago and i was like nooooooo! I was very surprised, I didnt even think of him as attractive until I saw him on How I met your mother and he is very alpha male. I love a good alpha male. Being a very strong indpendant woman, I can be very dominating, non alpha male types allow this and i do not like it. I dont want to dominate, i dont want to wear the pants. I usually dont get crushes on gay boys because i have good judgement on who is gay and who isnt. and typically gay boys are not your average ambitous alpha male. lol

I have a sinus headache and that makes me sad.

oooooook I'm joining in late but, I actually watched the premier of Grey's...despite not having ever finished watching the 2nd season and only having seen 3 episodes of the 3rd oops....and yeah Katlin, it was weird without Burke and Addison..and I don't think I like her new show either...

and I really only watched because it helped kill time until Without a Trace came on and that's my fave :D

Um let's see this week I also watched, Dancing with the Stars, The Bachelor and that new show Dirty, Sexy, Money...which actually was pretty comical despite the lackluster previews but I doubt it will make it past this first season

lost_n_justin's_smile
Sep 29th, 2007, 01:22 AM
Here Sparks, have some Advil Cold and Sinus...works like a charm.

Private Practice was really lame. Addison belongs on Grey's

SparkleHugs
Sep 29th, 2007, 10:56 AM
I liked Private Practice, despite it being lame. lol Its fun and light, but I dislike the way they depict LA.

I liked Dirty Sexy Money, I think it does stand a chance. it's an entertaining show. It's different. and I am jealous of all the rich people. lol

Katlin
Sep 29th, 2007, 12:17 PM
I liked the Private Practice stuff a lot too, at least when they did the Grey's/Private Practice combo last spring. I missed the actual premeire though.

Have you watched it yet Katlin? What did you think?

Is anyone else watching Dancing with the Stars? I felt SO bad for Jennie Garth last night. Good thing they didnt send her home.

lost_n_justin's_smile
Oct 2nd, 2007, 11:28 PM
My Mom is a faithful viewer and since my Dad is usually watching History Channel shows he's seen 20 times, she usually watches it in my room so I watch too.

Poor Jennie Garth...she looked like she was going to throw up after she fell.

I like Helio and his partner

My mom and I had gone to the taping on monday and you could see she was seriously distraught after their performance. At the end of the show I could still see it in her face, and afterward she walked over to her family and her husband just held her face, was wispering in her ear and wiping the tears from her eyes. I felt SO bad for her. I wanted to tell her she did a fantastic job and she has WAY too many fans to be eliminated this week. poor girl.

Wayne needs to GO. I was suprised that Albert went home last night. he did a good job, models just don't last on that show.

SHUSH!

West coasters are still watching Jeopardy!!

Luckily I remembered that while I was still typing. When I move this whole time zone switch is gonna throw my TV watching for a loop.

SparkleHugs
Oct 4th, 2007, 11:41 PM
Yes for sure, especially if you go to central time when everything is oddly an hour earlier.

I liked tonight episode though. Miss katlin still has not seen, so I will refrain from commenting further. But I basically feel bad for every single character in some way or another. lol

princessKAT
Oct 5th, 2007, 08:59 PM
miss Kat has not seen either...on the agenda for tonight

and lol back when Indiana wouldn't switch times and we went back and forth btwn central and eastern standard, things still came on at the same time...and not an hour earlier, so I still find that concept so very odd to me lol

HipHopChristian
Oct 5th, 2007, 11:19 PM
Central time rocks.... you weirdos have everything an hour later. 8 o clock is CLEARLY the weird time for primetime to start :p

Isn't some Disney person on DWTS this season? (like I don't know her name :o... I just don't believe she is on it)

Sabrina Bryan...she's a Cheetah Girl. She's REALLY good!

HipHopChristian
Oct 6th, 2007, 12:27 AM
ooo it's HER. I mean, obviously I knew it was a Cheetah Girl, but I think it was the Latina one, Adrianne (or however u spell her name...). It makes sense that it's Sabrina though, since she's a dancer anyway (even in the movies, her whole thing is dance... she's not as big on the singing)

SparkleHugs
Oct 6th, 2007, 12:45 AM
I effing hate that girl and I hate that she is good. She is SO FREAKING ANNOYING!!! I want her to fall SO BAD

pinky
Oct 6th, 2007, 09:38 AM
 I don't want her to fall (like I did last season with the witch), but if she's already a professional dancer, why is she even on there? It's not like Joey, who was a singer first, dancer second, or Drew, who kind of danced when he was with 98 Degrees.

And, she's annoying as all hell. I want Marie Osmond to win, because she's so funny. (She didn't get eliminated this week, did she? I didn't see it.)

lost_n_justin's_smile
Oct 6th, 2007, 03:29 PM
No pinks, Albert and Anna went home this week.

Hollis, you might be the only one to appreciate this. I told my Mom last week that if they can have a Cheetah Girl on I wanted a High School Musical version of the show.

It probably wouldn't be good but it would definitely be funny.

SparkleHugs
Oct 6th, 2007, 04:20 PM
I thikn she shouldnt be allowed in the show either. Part of me already thinks that the fact that Drew, Joey and Joe McIntyre, and Mario Lopez being there were all kind of wrong becuase they have a background in dance. But since I liked them all, I didnt complain much...lol But the Cheetah girl certainly shouldn't be there. Mostly because she is effinga annoying.

:blueeek:

Sabrina just got booted! And did she ever look shocked!

I didn't see that one coming.

HipHopChristian
Oct 30th, 2007, 09:08 PM
hahahah Lanie, that would be AWESOME.

Okay, so shes on Dancing with the stars?.. and NOT so you think you can dance? lol. I get confused...

Yeah, if you have a background in dance you shouldn't be allowed, but just like on SYTYCD, if you already danced with britney or christina, you shouldn't be allowed on that show either...

lost_n_justin's_smile
Oct 30th, 2007, 09:09 PM
Yes, Hollis it would be.

Yes, she's on Dancing with the Stars. Well she was...she got booted tonight.

SparkleHugs
Oct 30th, 2007, 11:13 PM
I was completely floored. I was thinking it might be Jennie, because i saw this post, and knew it would be a shocker, I expected Jane or Marie.

I bet that girl is so maadd, but I cant say im sorry, she bothered me lol

lost_n_justin's_smile
Oct 30th, 2007, 11:17 PM
Within about 2 seconds of the announcement, our phone rang. It was my Mom's friend going "Oh my Gosh!!"

That was certainly unexpected. She was so good!

SparkleHugs
Oct 30th, 2007, 11:34 PM
She was so annoying, and danced hip hop way more than she should have. Also i agree that those with a dance background shouldnt be on the show, ala, she shouldnt have been on the show. lol

I was really sad that Cameron was in the bottom two. I really like him and I think he did a good job

pinky
Oct 31st, 2007, 02:54 PM
Well, she looked stunned when she found out she was in the bottom 2, while Cameron looked resigned to leaving.

I would be that lots of people all across the country found her annoying as hell, and didn't vote for her for that reason. She's certainly a great dancer, and I can understand why the judges liked her so much.

SparkleHugs
Oct 31st, 2007, 03:38 PM
I think knowing that Sabrina had all the highest votes and is a childrens pop star of sorts, i would resign to being voted off too. lol

last night certainly made me want to vote though. I really want Jennie to win, this whole time I thought Sabrina would...now I dont know. It probably wont be Jennie, but a girl can hope. lol

HipHopChristian
Oct 31st, 2007, 08:40 PM
What woulda happened if Sabrina won? What does the winner get?

pinky
Oct 31st, 2007, 08:43 PM
The celebrity gets bragging rights. I think the professional dance partners get some money.

lost_n_justin's_smile
Oct 31st, 2007, 08:50 PM
So, do you guys think Sabrina and her partner are a couple in real life? My Mom and I are still on the fence about that one

pinky
Oct 31st, 2007, 08:59 PM
I haen't heard anything about that, Lanie. Are there any real couples that have formed as a result of this show?

SparkleHugs
Oct 31st, 2007, 09:02 PM
I don't think that Sabrina and her partner are

Mario Lopez and Karina I believe are still dating. Willa Ford and her partner were together, and I think Apollo and Julianne had an innocent crush thing going on, but I dont know about Sabrina. I actutally think he might be with another dancer, i cannot remember.

Do you guys think Maksim is gay? my roommates really think so, but im not too sure

lost_n_justin's_smile
Oct 31st, 2007, 09:02 PM
I'm not sure. My Mom seems to think that she heard somewhere that a few of the professional dancers are married to each other.

We just get the feeling watching them that Sabrina and Mark might be a little more than friends. They were on ET tonight but of course they wouldn't give a straight answer

SparkleHugs
Nov 1st, 2007, 01:04 AM
I don't know. I am gonna say there may be a big attraction there but no real romance.

I believe edyta is married to a dancer that was voted off earlier in the season. i forget who though. The red head that danced with the model guy is married to another dancer on the show, again i forget who.

SparkleHugs
Nov 5th, 2007, 11:01 AM
Never thought I'd say this, but apparently Lanie is correct and I am wrong....lol

Sabrina and her partner admit they are in love.

I think this prooves that dancing makes people want to have sex. the preacher from footloose was right.

ILoveJoey
Nov 5th, 2007, 12:22 PM
I do think Maksim is straight (although it's surprising I think lol), and he's the one that Willa Ford was with a couple seasons ago... don't know if it was ever confirmed that they were dating, but I definitely remember hearing about it.

Jonathan Roberts (Marie's partner) & Anna Trebunskaya (the redhead that was with the model guy) are married...
Edyta Sliwinska & Alec Mazo are I believe just recently married since maybe the summer. Alec was the first one voted off this season, I believe... he was with Josie Maran.

and I literally laughed out loud at the Footloose reference! hahaa
